Libranol series of alkonolamides are a range of non-ionic surfactants that are highly compatible with most surfactant types. The compound is a viscous liquid which produces moderate foam, as well as possessing wetting and thickening properties. Alkanolamines commonly possess applications for the personal care industry, in products such as shampoo and other soaps; as well as a variety of cleaning products in the household, industrial, and institutional cleaning sectors.

Libraphos series of phosphate esters from Libra Speciality Chemicals are anionic surfactants, suitable for use in a wide range of applicants and industries. The Libraphos series are 100% active anionic surfactants and are based on alcohols, aromatic ethoxylates or alcohol ethoxylates. Libraphos phosphate esters are manufactured by either a polyphosphoric acid route giving predominantly mono esters or by a phosphorous pentoxide route to give predominantly di-esters. These phosphate esters can then be neutralised to achieve a variety of salts. The Libraphos series of surfactants may be used in a number of applications due to their stability at high temperatures or in acidic or alkaline conditions. These attributes offer significant advantages over other surfactants.

Libraquat PQ7 by Libra Speciality Chemicals, is a Polycationic copolymer of acrylamide and diallyldimethylammonium chloride. Polyquaterium is the International Nomenclature for Cosmetic Ingredients designation for several polycationic polymers that are used in the personal care industry. Libraquat is a cationic water soluble copolymer with excellent cleaning abilities within personal care (specifically, hair care). Our PQ7 is a very effective polymer within its applications and Libra’s technical department is able to ensure the highest quality of product that matches specifications. The relatively small amounts of PQ7 required within formulation make this a highly efficient and cost effective product.

Libradet: formulated products are a synergistic blend of surfactants and foam stabilisers. Its ability to create a high-foaming product with consistent bubble size means it is well-suited to the production of lightweight foamed concrete.

The Libranone series contains a range of nonionic surfactant dilutions together with a number of formulated products for use in a wide range of industrial applications. Our range of Alcohol Ethoxylates can be ingredients in a range of formulations in global industries. The range is an environmentally friendly and acceptable alternative with strong performance features that improve on previous products like Alkyl Phenol Ethoxylates that have been phased out of the surfactant market.

Librasol

Libranox series of amine oxides are excellent detergents and cleaners for global cleaning industries and sectors. The series can be applied to cleaning products, they perform as excellent detergents, as well as providing excellent foam boosting and foam stabilising properties. When used in combination with anionics like sodium lauryl ether sulphate (SLES), the detergency effect of the formulation is increased. The products are also extensively used with both sodium hypochlorite and hydrogen peroxide to produce bleach based products. The dense, stable foam produced can be used in the formulation of high alkalinity cleaning compounds.

Libratex DOS 60PG is a clear/slightly hazy, viscous pale-yellow liquid formulation containing 60% di-octylsulphosuccinate in water or MPG. This anionic product is known for its compatibility with other anionic and nonionic surfactants. Libratex DOS 60PG is commonly used in oil and solvent emulsification, often in conjunction with non-ionic surfactants, to achieve enhanced high-temperature stability, making it an ideal choice for various applications.

Libranox AO12/14 is a liquid product that contains C12-14 amine oxide. It finds applications in various industries, including the production of rinse-off hair and body products, detergents, and other surfactant formulations. Its versatility is evident as it serves functions such as a foaming agent, viscosity modifier, stabilizer, emulsifier, hydrotrope, low foamer, and antifoaming agent.

Libratex SLES 2-28 is a 27% active solution of sodium lauryl (2 moles) ether sulfate, derived from natural alcohol and preserved with a high pH. This pale yellow liquid serves as a surfactant in a wide range of applications, including cosmetics, household, and industrial cleaning, as well as foaming applications.

Librateric DAB-LS is a self-preserving betaine with 35% activity and very low salt content. It is crafted from a refined C12 fatty acid sourced from non-GMO palm kernel oil. This product offers stability and effectiveness over a wide pH range and is suitable for use with both anionic and cationic surfactants. It is known for its 'mildness' and is readily biodegradable.

Libraquat PQ7 is a clear, colorless solution comprising a cationic copolymer of diallyldimethylammonium chloride and acrylamide. This product offers a bland odor and serves various purposes. It functions as an excellent emollient for skin cleansers, providing a smooth, silky feel to the hands when incorporated into liquid hand soap formulas. Libraquat PQ7 is also highly effective as a hair detangler, making wet-combing easier, and it adds softness and shine to dry hair.

Libraphos L66D, classified under the phosphate esters chemical family, is a versatile anionic surfactant in liquid form. This industrial additive is renowned for its high-temperature performance, acid stability, and alkali stability. Libraphos L66D finds application in various processes, including emulsion polymerization, making it adaptable to different industrial manufacturing methods.

Libraphos 1187 is a clear to slightly hazy liquid consisting of 2-ethylhexanol and 3EO phosphate ester. This product is classified as a phosphorous pentoxide phosphate alcohol ethoxylate and is prized for its versatility. It can be effectively utilized across a broad pH range, is known for its low foaming characteristics, and boasts high corrosion inhibition properties. Libraphos 1187 is employed in various applications, including serving as an anti-static agent in textiles and providing corrosion inhibition in cutting oils for metal treatment.

Libranox AO10 is a liquid product containing C10 amine oxide. It is primarily used in applications related to detergents, where it serves multiple purposes. Libranox AO10 functions as a foaming agent, emulsifier, hydrotrope, low foamer, and antifoaming agent, making it a versatile ingredient for various cleansing and surfactant formulations.

Libraphos P4 Ester is a clear amber liquid composed of phenol with 4EO phosphate ester. This product serves as an acidic version of Libraphos L66 and exhibits anionic properties, making it compatible with both other anionic and nonionic surfactants. Libraphos P4 Ester is versatile and suitable for use in both acidic and alkaline systems, even in high-temperature applications. Its primary role is as a hydrotrope for highly built systems and it comes highly recommended for the solubilization of low-foam surfactants within such formulations.
