This product offers excellent compatibility with Ethylene-Vinyl-Acetate (EVA), Styrene-Isoprene-Styrene copolymer (SIS), and is used as tackifier. HIKOREZ® H-2100 is light color cycloaliphatic hydrocarbon resin. The major usage is a tackifier for EVA, SIS, SEBS block copolymers, metallocene polyolefins and APAO. .

It is best suited for inner tubes, tire inner liner, adhesives, cable compound. Butyl rubber is a synthetic rubber, a copolymer of isobutylene with isoprene. Generally it’s called as IIR. It stands for isobutylene isoprene rubber. Butyl rubber is impermeable to air and used in many applications requiring an airtight rubber. The first major applications of butyl rubber are tire inner tubes and Inner Liner. Some other applications are adhesives, bladders, sealants and chewing gum.

AGITAN® P 840

AGITAN P 840 is recommended for application in dry blends which are dissolved in water before application. The addition of AGITAN P 840 results in low foaming solutions, specifically aqueous pastes or masses with very low air content. In some mortar systems AGITAN P 840 shows a plasticizing effect, meaning the spreading value is increased. This is ideal for jointless flooring compounds. In some systems setting time is prolonged but curing time is not influenced.

Emulprene 1006CR is a crumb hot emulsion styrene-Butadiene copolymer, polymerized using a fatty acid emulsifier and coagulated with salt-acid. It is a very light color product stabilized with a non-staining antioxidant, and presented as free flowing dusted crumb which eliminates the end for size reduction equipment. Between 7% and 12% of Calcium Carbonate is used as dusting agent.

Silquest™ A-1871 Epoxy Silane

Silquest™ A-1871 Epoxy Silane is a gamma-Glycidoxypropyltriethoxysilane. Acts as adhesion promoter. This epoxy functional silane provides outstanding chemical resistance, mechanical properties, improved adhesion to glass and metal substrates. It also provides crosslinking of waterborne latexes and dispersions; acrylic, styrene acrylic or other copolymers, polyurethane or epoxy dispersions. Has enhanced electrical properties of epoxy based electronic encapsulants and packaging materials, resulting from improved bonding between resin, substrate or filler. Improved wet adhesion reduces the risk of semiconductor or integrated circuit failure as a result of water ingress or surface corrosion. It also has improved dry adhesion and tensile strength. Use of epoxy silane may avoid the yellowing sometimes seen when amino functional adhesion promoters are used and it also has improved shelf stability over aminosilane alternatives. It is used in caulking applications.
