Antimussol® Z 70
Antimussol® Z 70 is a liquid foam control agent with very low silicone content for adhesives, coatings and inks based on synthetic latex emulsions. Antimussol® Z-70 is very effective during the mixing, dispersing and milling processes. Due to its components, it is easily dispersed and acts immediately to release entrapped air in foam bubbles and to prevent undesired foam built-up. It maintains its efficiency during long periods of agitation. The recommended dosage is 2.4-3.2 kg of Antimussol® Z-70 for 1000 liters of paint. This amount is sufficient to control the foam efficiently.In adhesives we recommend dosages between 1-2 % of Antimussol® Z-70 based on the total latex solids. This defoamer can be used as it is or as a water dispersion.
UNI-REZ 110 polyamide resin is an alcohol soluble / co-solvent type resin with excellent solvent release and blocking properties. UNI-REZ 110 polyamide resin was developed for release lacquers but can also be used as a modifying resin to improve hardness.
UNI-REZ 2930 polyamide resin is a co-solvent type resin which is soluble in alcohols, but typically requires mixtures of aliphatic hydrocarbons and alcohols for gel stability. UNI-REZ 2930 polyamide resin provides fast solvent release and good grease resistance in flexographic / gravure inks for plastic substrates and is especially effective as an overprint lacquer.
Kuraray Poval™ 8-88
KURARAY POVAL™ 8-88 by Kuraray is a polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) having varying degree of polymerization and hydrolysis. It is a water-soluble polymer manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It is notable for its good bonding strength and pigment binding capacity because PVAs have such good cohesion and good adhesion to fibers, fillers as well as pigments. KURARAY POVAL™ 8-88 is used in a similar manner as natural products such as casein as well as starch and its degraded derivatives (for example dextrin) as raw material for the production of aqueous adhesive solution. In comparison to dextrin and casein it has the advantage of a more uniform chemical structure and greater adhesion, being obtained with minimum raw material requirements. It features water-solubility, excellent film forming characteristics, high tensile strength and elasticity, as well as resistance against organic solvents and dispersing power. For the modification of aqueous adhesives its aqueous solution can be added to polymer emulsions already stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol which affects the extension of the open time, increase of the setting speed and influence on the rheology. It is biodegradable and recyclable. KURARAY POVAL™ 8-88 is used in producing silicon base paper that are further used as release paper for PSA labels and also in remoistenable adhesives which are employed mainly in the paper processing industry, films applications.
SUKOREZ® SU-640 is a white thermoplastic resin obtained from the copolymerization and hydrogenation of C5 aliphatic olefin and diolefin generated in the thermal-depolymerization process of naphtha. This product offers excellent thermal stability and compatibility with various elastomers such as Ethylene-Vinyl-Acetate (EVA) and Styrene-Isoprene-Styrene copolymer (SIS) so this product is used as tackifier resin for hot melt adhesive (HMA) and hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive (HMPSA), as well as polypropylene (PP) modifier. SUKOREZ® SU-640 is water white cycloaliphatic hydrocarbon resin. The major usage are a modifier in blends with polymers for filmic application and tackifier for EVA, SIS, SEBS block copolymers, metallocene polyolefins and APAO.
Elvanol™ 90-50 by Kuraray is a fully hydrolyzed, medium-to-low viscosity polyvinyl alcohol. Provides high film strength and binding power in relatively low -viscosity systems. Offers oil-, grease-, water and solvent resistance. It combines efficient binding with excellent high shear rheology, controls backside lint and surface debris and provides superior holdout. It is compatible with modified starches. Used in adhesives for porous substrates including paper and paperboard, hot-water soluble film, and as a binder for pigments or other solid particles. It is particularly useful as a pigment binder for ceiling tile primers. Elvanol™ 90-50 complies with FDA regulation.

Exolit® OP 1314 is a non-halogenated flame retardant based on organic phosphinates. The product achieves its flame retardant effect through intumescence. The thermoplastic polymer with Exolit® OP 1314 foams and crosslinks on exposure to flame and forms a stable char at the surface acting as a barrier. The protective layer provides a heat-insulating effect, reduces oxygen access and prevents dripping of molten polymer. Compared to Exolit® OP 1312, the product gives an improved thermal stability of polyamide compounds. Exolit® OP 1314 is a white powder.
UNI-REZ 119 polyamide resin is an alcohol soluble / co-solvent type resin with excellent solvent release and blocking properties. UNI-REZ 119 polyamide resin was developed for release lacquers and has the lowest solution viscosity but fast solvent release.

Gabriel® PKHS-30 PMA
Gabriel Phenoxy PK™HS-30 PMA is a 30% NV solution of Phenoxy resin in PM acetate (PMA or Propylene Glycol Methyl Ether Acetate). Phenoxy resins (polyhydroxyethers) are tough, ductile, amorphous, thermoplastic polymers having excellent thermal stability, adhesive strength, and vapor barrier properties. Phenoxy resins may be crosslinked by reacting its hydroxyl functional groups with isocyanates, melamine resins, or phenolic resins. Crosslinked phenoxy resins exhibit excellent chemical resistance, hardness, and adhesion on many substrates including steel, aluminum, glass, carbon fibers, and plastics such as nylon and polyester (PET). PKHS-30 PMA can be reduced with additional PMA to attain lower viscosities; the addition of MEK will reduce viscosities at a faster rate. The addition of diluents like xylene or toluene can also be useful. Coatings of PKHS-30 PMA exhibit excellent levels of flexibility and toughness when appropriately cured.

SYLVALITE™ RE 10L
SYLVALITE RE 10L rosin ester is a low softening point ester of tall oil rosin with good stability and mild odor. This liquid tackifier has wide compatibility, allowing it to be used in many adhesive systems, particularly where better wetting or low temperature tack is required.
ZINPLEX 15 contains 13.2% zinc metal ions that can be used to crosslink aqueous carboxylated polymers. This crosslinking or complexing takes place as the coating dries at either room temperature or under forced dry or higher baking conditions.
Velsiflex® 342 is one of the most popular liquid plasticizers. It is a high-solvating plasticizer containing mostly dipropylene glycol dibenzoate. It is used in a wide variety of applications, including caulk, adhesives, resilient flooring, PVC-coated fabrics and artificial-leather cloth. In PVC, it acts as a medium- viscosity high solvator that saves energy and improves process ability. Vinyl applications using Velsiflex 342 have excellent resistance to extraction from solvents and oils. It also works with vinyl to make it UV – light-degradation resistant and stain resistant.
SYLVARES™ TR 7125
SYLVARES TR 7125 polyterpene resin is a thermally stable polyterpene tackifier that can be used to tackify natural rubber, synthetic elastomer, and some polyolefin adhesives. It may also be used in investment casting applications.
Exolit® OP 950
Exolit® OP 950 is a white granular powder based on an organic phosphinate. The product is not hygroscopic and slightly soluble both in water and in common organic solvents. It melts at 200°C.

UNI-REZ 2521 (formerly UNI-REZ 521) thermoplastic polyamide resin is designed to impart a high degree of thixotropy to alkyd resins. Thixotropy can be achieved by reacting UNI-REZ 2521 with the alkyd resin at temperatures between 190-210°C. UNI-REZ 2521 can be easily processed and achieves its clear point on dilution before attainment of maximum thixotropy.
