SABIC's Specialties Business ULTEM™ Resin 2120 is a high-flow, 10% glass fiber-reinforced polyetherimide resin. This material is RoHS compliant, intrinsically flame retardant without the use of FR modifiers, and offers UL94 V0 at over 0.5 mm. It offers excellent dimensional stability, strength, stiffness, and creep resistance at high temperatures due to its high glass transition temperature of 217°C. This material is opaque and can be custom colored. SABIC offers renewable bio-based solutions certified by ISCC+ for this grade, which are available through differentiated color nomenclature.

SABIC's Specialties Business FXE9330 PC-Siloxane copolymer is a special effects fluorescent with excellent processability and low temperature impact performance. Non-chlorinated, non-brominated flame retardant product in most colors. UV-stabilized. UL rated f1/V-0/5VA.

It is recommended for space applications due to its low outgassing rate and low-temperature flexibility. This resin offers extreme low temperature ductility in combination with medium flow characteristics and excellent processability with opportunities for shorter IM cycle times compared to standard PC. LEXAN™ EXL1613T resin is a general purpose product available in transparent and opaque colors and is an excellent candidate for a broad range of applications. This powder is available with an average particle size (D50) of 200 micron and a maximum particle size (D100) of 450 micron. It may offer a high glass transition temperature (Tg) of 217°C. It has a lower molecular weight than 1000P200. Features are excellent mechanical, electrical and dimension properties up to high temperatures. This material is RoHS compliant and inherently flame retardant, without the need for any flame retardant additives, and offers a UL94 V0 rating at over 0.5 mm. It provides excellent dimensional stability, strength, stiffness, and creep resistance at high temperatures due to its high glass transition temperature of 217°C. This opaque material can be custom colored, and SABIC offers renewable bio-based solutions certified by ISCC+ for this grade, which can be identified by differentiated color nomenclature.

SABIC's Specialties Business ULTEM™ Resin 1010UCL is an amorphous, transparent polyetherimide (PEI) thermoplastic offering enhanced flow and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 217°C. 1010UCL offers the same performance as ULTEM 1010 resin and offers further enhanced cleanliness control for (optical) applications. The natural (uncolored) version of this grade is compliant with RoHS and also with Halogen Free standards as IEC 61249-2-21 and e.g. IPC 4101E. For colored versions, compliance needs to be checked case by case.

The material has global food contact compliance (FDA, CN, EC), potable water certifications: NSF 61, KTW-BWGL, EN16421. REG4, ACS, WRAS re-certifications are in progress. Features are excellent mechanical, and dimension properties up to high temperatures also under wet conditions. The material offers very good hydrolytic and chemical resistance for an amorphous material. The material is RoHS compliant. Certified colors are natural (transparent amber) and black.

SABIC's Specialties Business LNP™ THERMOCOMP™ LC006EX1 compound is based on Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) resin containing 30% carbon fiber. Added features of this grade include: High Modulus, High impact, Easy Molding, Electrical Conductive.

This inherently flame retardant resin is KTW, WRAS, ACS, NSF-61 and W270 certified and is US FDA and European Food Contact approved. ULTEM PW2100 resin offers specific colors designed and certified for use in potable water applications.

SABIC's Specialties Business ULTEM 2310EPR resin is a further improved flow 30% glass fiber reinforced polyetherimide resin with an added internal mold release. The material is RoHS compliant and is intrinsically flame retardant without the use of FR modifiers and offers UL94 V0 and 5VA ratings. The material may offer excellent dimension stability, strength, stiffness and creep resistance up to high temperature due to its high glass transition temperature of 217°C. Beside enhanced flow the material offers enhanced metal adhesion in Electroplated applications. The material is opaque.
