DENSETEC POST CONSUMER

Densetec® Post Consumer is a 98% (2% color) post consumer product that can be used in a variety of applications. Densetec® Post Consumer is manufactured using a HDPE resin that has been compounded and processed from products such as detergent bottles and/or milk jugs that have been saved from our nation's land fills. Densetec® Post Consumer is Polymer Industries contribution to the “Green Movement” and can be produced for a minimum run, per color, per thickness. Densetec® Post Consumer is manufactured in sheet form or can be fabricated to customer requirements, and can be used to produce products such as Marine Board, Playground Board, Sign Board and Partition Board. Densetec® Post Consumer exhibits virtually the same properties as those of standard HDPE. It is easily fabricated, routed or engraved using current CNC technology. This material can be produced with or without a textured surface. It can be produced using any of Polymer's many stock colors and can be produced with a UV stabilizer making it the perfect choice for outdoor environments. It is an excellent replacement for wood, and because the color is embedded in the sheet, it never needs painting and is also vandal resistant. The versatile properties of Densetec® Post Consumer make it the ideal product for any application that standard HDPE can be used. Polymer Industries has committed considerable resources to the environmental reclamation of HDPE and the development of a product that does not sacrifice the integrity of the application in which it is used. Densetec® Marine Board is specially formulated to withstand the rigors of harsh outdoor marine environments. It is UV-stabilized to resist damage and retain its beauty, even after years of direct sunlight. Increasingly, Densetec® Marine Board is replacing wood and laminates in boating applications. It does not splinter,crack, delaminate, rot, swell, or absorb water like traditional materials. Even under heavy foot traffic on yacht decks, it remains virtually maintenance-free. In addition, there is no need to stain or paint Densetec® Marine Board every few years. The color is integrated with the polymer and retains its vibrant appearance better than painted wood. Fabricating and finishing are easy with standard woodworking tools. Densetec® Marine Board forms easily for smooth curves and bends. Since there is no grain pattern, parts can be cut from any part of the sheet virtually eliminating waste for greater economy than wood. Densetec® Marine Board is also available in two other formulations for specific applications: Densetec® Marine HP (High Performance) and Densetec® Marine LW (Lightweight).

Trecora Chemical CWP400 is a polyethylene wax. Exhibits abrasion-, rub- and mar resistance. Provides anti-block, release and gloss control properties. Can aid in the resistance properties of a coating. Salt spray resistance of an exterior coating that will be exposed to severe weathering can be improved by adding a barrier enhancing wax. Unwanted transfer or adhesion of coating to a contacted surface is thus prevented. Imparts a non-stick character to a coating that decreases the tendency for blocking. Can be used to control gloss to achieve a desired matt effect. CWP400 by Trecora Chemicals is used in powder coatings, can coatings, coil coatings and wood/furniture coatings.
