SABIC's Specialties Business ULTEM™ Resin 1010UCL is an amorphous, transparent polyetherimide (PEI) thermoplastic offering enhanced flow and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 217°C. 1010UCL offers the same performance as ULTEM 1010 resin and offers further enhanced cleanliness control for (optical) applications. The natural (uncolored) version of this grade is compliant with RoHS and also with Halogen Free standards as IEC 61249-2-21 and e.g. IPC 4101E. For colored versions, compliance needs to be checked case by case.

This material is RoHS compliant, is intrinsically flame retardant without the use of FR modifiers, and offers UL94 V0 at more than 0.5 mm. This material offers excellent dimension stability, strength, stiffness, and creep resistance up to high temperatures due to its high glass transition temperature of 217°C. This material is opaque and can be custom colored. SABIC's ISCC+-certified renewable bio-based solutions are available for this grade via differentiated color nomenclature.

It has a UL94 V0@.75mm, 5VA@3.0mm and 5VB@1.5mm flame rating. This grade has improved chemical resistance compared to standard PC/ABS blends and is a good candidate for thin wall applications.

This material contains non-halogenated flame retardant and carries a UL94 flame rating of V0 at 6mm. FLEX NORYL WCP761 resin is intended for evaluation in over-molding applications such as plugs, strain reliefs, and connectors. It has a Shore A Hardness reading of 78 and exhibits low specific gravity, very low water absorption, and dimensional stability.
