SABIC's Specialties Business FLEX NORYL WCA955 resin is a flexible, non-reinforced injection moldable blend of Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) + Styrene Ethylene Butylene Styrene (SEBS) + Polyolefin. This material contains non-halogenated flame retardant and carries a UL94 flame rating of V0 at 6mm. FLEX NORYL WCA955 resin is intended for evaluation in over-molding applications such as plugs, strain reliefs, and connectors. It has a Shore A Hardness reading of 84 and exhibits low specific gravity, very low water absorption, and dimensional stability.

SABIC's Specialties Business NORYL NP6100 resin is a non-reinforced blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) + polystyrene (PS) designed for high heat resistance with good strength, toughness and robust FR performance. This extrudable grade contains non-brominated, non-chlorinated flame retardant. NORYL NP6100 resin may be an excellent candidate for mining pipe applications as well as low smoke cable channel applications where EN45545 R22 certificate ( European railway standard for small electrical parts) is required. This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. Each user is responsible for evaluating the presence of unintentional PFAS impurities.

SABIC's Specialties Business FLEX NORYL™ WCD815U resin is a flexible, non-reinforced extrudable blend of Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) + Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE). This UV stabilized material contains non-halogenated flame retardant and performance capable of meeting UL 1581 VW-1 requirements. FLEX NORYL™ WCD815U resin is intended for evaluation in AC cable jacket applications that require UL62 at 90C temperature rating and light color. It has a Shore A Hardness reading of 81 and exhibits superior thermal stability, very low water absorption, good electric properties, and low specific gravity. Processing is typically conducted on standard extrusion equipment, and UL 1581 testing is conducted on 2.0mm wire with 0.12mm X 20 stranded copper conductor This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. Each user is responsible for evaluating the presence of unintentional PFAS impurities.

SABIC's Specialties Business FLEX NORYL™ WCV072 resin is a flexible, non-reinforced extrudable blend of Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) + Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE). This material contains non-halogenated flame retardant and carries UL VW-1 and UL94 V0 ratings along with a Shore D Hardness reading of 72. FLEX NORYL™ WCV072 resin was developed for evaluation in automotive wire + cable applications requiring ISO6722 Class A or B. It exhibits ultra thin-wall capability, Good scratch abrasion and pinch resistance, High dimensional stability, low shrinkage and warpage. Very low water absorption, chemical resistance, and good dieletrcic strength. Processing is typically conducted on standard extrusion equipment, and UL 1581 testing is conducted on 2.0mm wire with 0.12mm X 20 stranded copper conductor. NORYL™ NH5110E resin was developed for low-beard growth during profile extrusion and is an excellent candidate for electrical conduit and cable management applications.

NORYL LS6010 resin features low smoke production upon burning, high heat resistance, very low specific gravity, enhanced resistance to melting and dripping and meets the requirements of FAR 25.853. In addition, this material is heat stabilized and impact modified. It is an excellent candidate for aerospace interior applications such as rub strips, seat track covers, cable guides, switch panels, conduit, wall/ceiling mounted electronics, and parts machined from slab stock.
