SABIC's Specialties Business NORYL™ LS6010 resin is a non-reinforced blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) + polystyrene (PS). This high performance, injection moldable and extrudable grade contains non-brominated, non-chlorinated flame retardant and carries a UL94 flame rating of V0 at 1.5mm. NORYL LS6010 resin features low smoke production upon burning, high heat resistance, very low specific gravity, enhanced resistance to melting and dripping and meets the requirements of FAR 25.853. In addition, this material is heat stabilized and impact modified. It is an excellent candidate for aerospace interior applications such as rub strips, seat track covers, cable guides, switch panels, conduit, wall/ceiling mounted electronics, and parts machined from slab stock. This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. Each user is responsible for evaluating the presence of unintentional PFAS impurities.

This material contains non-halogenated flame retardant and performance capable of meeting UL VW-1 requirements, 105C end use temperature rating, and heat deformation performance as defined by UL 1581. FLEX NORYL WCA871A resin is intended for evaluation in wire insulation and cable jacket applications in light colors. It has a Shore A Hardness reading of 84 and exhibits superior thermal stability, very low water absorption, good electric properties, and low specific gravity. Processing is typically conducted on standard extrusion equipment, and UL 1581 testing is conducted on 2.0mm wire with 0.12mm X 20 stranded copper conductor.

FLEX NORYL WCD855 resin is a thermally stable, flexible, and flame-resistant material composed of PPE and TPE, with low water absorption and good electrical properties, making it well suited for consideration in AC cable jacket applications. Processing is typically conducted on standard extrusion equipment, and UL 1581 testing is conducted on 2.0mm wire with 0.12mm X 20 stranded copper conductor and is also suitable for coating AWG26 and AWG28 copper conductor. This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. Some other applications for 118-06-F include, but are not limited to, conductive splicing of ribbon cables, PTF circuits, and electrical attachment of SMD devices, as well as the assembling electrical and electronic components. This system features excellent thermal stability and high temperature properties. This product has been formulated to have improved handling in the B-staged form. 126-22-F is an anisotropic conductive, solvent-resistant, transferable adhesive film. This product features excellent adhesion to Kapton, Mylar, glass, and a variety of other substrates. Unlike conventional conductive materials, this product is very resistant to methyl ethyl ketone. This product features a hydrophobic resin that has proven well in humid aging studies and is also very resistant to scratching and creasing. Applications for 126-22 include, but are not limited to, conductive splicing of ribbon cables, PTF circuits attachments, and LED surface bonding demands. ECP 245 Colourable Magnetically Detectable Nylon 6 compound for injection molding and extrusion. ECP 245 is a colourable magnetic compound based on special blends of magnetic additive compounded into Nylon 6 in such a way as to optimize physical and magnetic properties during processing. Used in the food processing industry where detection of foreign body contamination is to be avoided.

ECP 121/1015 is a permanently electrically conductive thermoplastic based on EVA and LDPE, specially formulated to give very high conductivity with a high degree of flexibility. The compound is suitable for injection molding, profile extrusion and sheet extrusion applications, which require good flexibility and high impact properties. The compound meets the specifications laid down for handling static sensitive devices in BS IEC 61340-5-1:2007 and ATEX regulations. Low level emi shielding is also attained.

Millathane® UV is an ultra-violet curable millable polyurethane compound typically used with Millathane® 97, but other Grades can be used as well. Millable polyurethane extrusions can be continuously cured and products molded using UV light without the use of ovens, microwaves or salt bath units. (Patent Pending) These curable compounds can be extruded or calendered onto fabric or as an unsupported sheet and then continuously cured by passing them through a UV-curing conveyor belt chamber. Molded parts can be press-cured using special transparent molds to allow curing with UV light, or can be cured in a UV chamber. Time of irradiation varies with the nature and type of material, the type and concentration of other ingredients, and the type and power of the light source. They are great for extruding hollow tubing and other continuous shapes, such as bars, rods, L-channels, U-channels, square tubing, and the like. It’s great for extruded protective covering over all types of cables, hoses, and protective conduit.
