Flamtard H
Chemical Name:
Zinc Hydroxystannate
Functions:
Solid Lubricant, Synergist, Smoke Suppressant, Flame Retardant
Chemical Family:
Zinc Stannates (ZS), Zinc Salts, Zinc & Zinc Compounds
Labeling Claims:
Environmentally Friendly, Non-Hazardous
Flamtard H (zinc hydroxystannate) is an insoluble, non-hazardous, antimony-free flame retardant synergist that inhibits the development of flames and smoke in polymers. In halogen-containing polymers, the material has both condensed and vapor phase action during combustion. At 220 °C, the material releases 15w% of water, then at higher temperatures (400 °C - 600 °C) zinc and tin ions exert catalytic activity that inhibits the radical chain reaction causing the flame. In halogen-free polymers Flamtard H can increase the char consistency and strength.

Good Thermal Stability
POLSIL® MV AB is addition curing, two-component liquid silicone elastomers which after the addition of a catalyst cures at room temperature. The curing time may be shortened at higher temperature (i.e. up to 6 h at 70°C). The rubber is suitable for protection of electronic and telecommunication systems against influence of external factors and for stiffening and protecting (flooding) photovoltaic cells in solar panels against impact of climatic factors in the conditions of variable temperatures ranging from -50 to +180°C.

Chemical Name:
Lead Iodide
CAS Number:
10101-63-0
Grade:
Laboratory Grade
Labeling Claims:
Odor-free
Lead iodide is a salt with the formula PbI2. At room temperature, it is a bright yellow heavy odorless powder, that becomes orange and red when heated. It is typically used in photography, medicine, printing, mosaic gold, and bronzing. The compound also has a few specialized applications, such as the manufacture of solar cells, x-ray and gamma-ray detectors. Its used as a precursor material in the fabrication of highly efficient solar cells. Its used as a high-energy photon detector for gamma-rays and x-rays, due to its wide band gap which ensures low noise operation.
