Polyplastics Group Topas® 8007X-10 is a highly UV-transparent version of our 8007 series of injection molding resins. Like the rest of the 8007 grades, 8007X10 is a glass-clear amorphous polymer with outstanding moisture barrier, chemical resistance, high purity and a non-reactive surface making it an excellent choice for diagnostic and analytical products. It transmits ultraviolet light at lower wavelengths than other polymers. Analytical results are more accurate with pure TOPAS COC and its higher UV transmission for more precise analysis in contact with sensitive chemistries.

It is a glass-clear amorphous polymer with outstanding moisture barrier, chemical resistance, high purity and a non-reactive surface making it an excellent choice for healthcare and other high-tech products. The 5013 resin series features high flow characteristics for excellent mold detail replication. Lower leachables and extractables of TOPAS COC preserve content stability and quality, and chemical purity. This grade has a high heat distortion temperature to withstand 95°C PCR protocols, and is suitable for gamma or EtO procedures.

Rulon® 1337 is a tan material made entirely from FDA compliant components. It has excellent physical properties and is chemically compatible with most chemicals, except concentrated sulfuric acid. This offers much flexibility in wash-down environments of food and pharmaceutical processing environments. It has a slightly lower coefficient of friction than Rulon J, offering extended life and less abrasion with softer mating surfaces. It is compatible with most commercially available natural lubricants for additional reduction in friction.

In addition to excellent melt stability and good melt strength, NX3024F has excellent grease resistance, toughness, resistance to abrasion, and does not absorb food odors. Nylene NX3024F meets the requirements of FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1500 for direct food contact. Optimum processing conditions should provide a melt temperature of 480 - 500°F at the die.
