Effective January 15th, 2008 this grade will no longer be supported with biocompatibility information and should not be used for medical applications which require biocompatibility. SABIC's Specialties Business LNP ELCRES EXL7414 is based on Polycarbonate (PC) siloxane copolymer resin. It is a medium flow, non-chlorinated, non-brominated flame retardant opaque grade. It offers excellent low temperature ductility (-40C), extremely thin wall flame retardant capability with UL94 V0 at 0.6mm, and in combination with excellent processability and release with opportunities for shorter cycle times compared to standard Polycarbonate. It is available in wide range of opaque colors and is an excellent candidate for a wide variety of applications such as the battery cover of fast-charging mobile phones that need to be compliant with IEC62368-1.

SILPURAN® 2122 A/B is a two-component, addition-curing silicone composition that cures to a soft silicone adhesive with high adhesive strength. It belongs to the silicone gel category. SILPURAN® 2122 A/B can be used as a skin adhesive in medical applications. It has good adhesive properties that can be adjusted to suit specific requirements. Increasing the proportion of component A results in a softer vulcanizate and increased tackiness.

This resin offers UL94 V0 @ 1.5mm flame retardancy based on non-bromine, non-chlorine FR systems, extreme low temperature ductility (-40 deg C) characteristics and excellent processability with opportunities for shorter IM cycle times compared to standard PC. LEXAN EXL9134 resin is available in a wide range of opaque colors and may be an excellent candidate for a wide range of applications.
