ROKAmid KAD/2A MB

ROKAmid KAD/2A MB is a derivative of palm kernel oil and comes from certified crops. This product is RSPO Mass Balance certified ROKAmid KAD/2A MB is a non-ionic surfactant with the INCI name ‘Cocamide DEA’. It is based on natural vegetable oils. It has a form of a clear or slightly turbid light-yellow to yellow liquid. ROKAmid KAD/2A MB is one of the most common co-surfactants, which has a range of very interesting application properties. Most of all, it is used as a rheology modifier, that is a thickener which improves consistence by creating so-called mixed micelles. Among other KAD series ROKAmides, it shows improved thickening properties compared to the ROKAmid KAD or KAD/1A. When mixed with anionic surfactants, it increases and stabilizes the quality of foam. ROKAmid KAD/2A MB is very effective even at a low concentration.

ROKAmin K5

ROKAmin K5 is a non-ionic surfactant with the INCI name ‘PEG-5 Cocamine’. It belongs to ethoxylated fatty amines with an average ethoxylation of 5 mols. The commercial product contains approximately 100% of the active substance. ROKAmin K5 has a form of a clear liquid with the color of amber. Its freezing point is approx. -19°C. The product dissolves well in water. Due to the presence of the oxyethylene double chain at the nitrogen atom, the product has a combination of action in the application as a nonionic and cationic surfactant, especially in acid systems. Owing to its cationic character, a molecule of ROKAmin K5 can create a single film on a metal surface. Consequently, the product shows an anti-corrosion effect, in particular on ferrous metals.

ROKAnol® K5 (Cetoleth-5) is a non-ionic surfactant belonging to the group of ethoxylated fatty alcohols (INCI name: Cetoleth–5). The product is manufactured from raw materials of natural origin. It takes the form of a viscous liquid or semi-liquid paste, straw to yellow in color, which solidifies at a temperature close to 18°C.
