Ethacure® 100-LC is a low-color curing agent for polyurethanes and epoxy resins. It may also be used as a chain extender for polyurethane and polyurea elastomers, particularly in reaction injection molding and spray applications.

StarPCS™ SBMC-843 is a discontinuous carbon fiber reinforced molding compound containing carbon fiber, a Starfire proprietary polysiloxane resin, and refractory particulate. SBMC-843 contains a Polyramic® thermosetting resin which cures at temperatures between 200-310°C, and functions as a high temperature carbon fiber reinforced structure with a silicon oxycarbide ceramic matrix. Compression mold curing produces a green fiber reinforced polymer matrix composite (PMC) material. Further processing to 850°C minimum in inert environment results in an amorphous silicon oxycarbide ceramic matrix composite (CMC) to be used with different infiltration polymers or materials. Ideal infiltration polymers include Polyramic® SPR-212, SPR-212 based slurries (SL-227, SL-480), and other Starfire® polysiloxane products.

APCM DA 409U/G35-150 is a tough, versatile, modified epoxy resin prepreg that cures at 250°F, a standard modulus 150 g/m2 carbon prepreg tape which can also be supplied as a 200g/m2 or a 300 g/m2 prepreg.

APCM DA 4092 is modified epoxy pre-impregnated system which can cure at 250°F (121°C) for one hour. DA 4090 | DA 4092 can be supplied on any commercially available glass, Kevlar, or graphite fabric. DA 4090 is a one sided pre-impregnated fabric yielding a single sided tack material. DA 4092 is the same system where both sides of the fabric are pre-impregnated yielding a double sided tack material. Both prepreg systems can be used for laminating and honeycomb sandwich construction.

Resinoid 2089 is a chopped fabric reinforced, two-step phenolic molding compound offering good physical and wear properties. This product has been specifically formulated for mechanical applications where minimal wear and low shrinkage values are desired. This material comes in bulk fabric form and is suitable for compression molding.

APCM DA 4518U is a tough, versatile, modified epoxy resin system that cures at 250°F to 350°F. DA4518U can be supplied as a prepreg tape coated on unidirectional graphite.

CL600 is High performance fiber multiaxial fabric. It is composed of fiber layers laid in warp (0º), dimensional (90º) or diagonal (±45º) directions and stitched by polyester stitching threads. Products are widely used in aerospace, military and national defense, construction engineering, wind blades, sports and leisure and other fields.

StarPCS™ SBMC-900 are carbon fiber reinforced molding compounds containing a discontinuous carbon fiber, a specially formulated StarPCSTM polycarbosilane resin, and refractory particulate. SBMC-900 and SBMC-998 can be used in the cured state, but are specifically designed for use as a ceramic matrix composite (CMC) thermal or mechanical structure.

C-LT 0900 is a carbon fiber type.

Phenolic resins are renowned for their excellent high temperature resistance, flame resistance, low smoke generation and low toxicity in fire situations. Phenolics are used in vehicle armor applications that utilize these properties in combination with E-glass and other high performance glass fibers. Phenolics are very rigid, although toughened versions are available with reduced temperature resistance.

APCM DA 4517 is an epoxy prepreg designed for a temperature range of -67°F (-55°C) to 350°F (177°C), with a cure of 180°F (82°C) for three hour. Shorter cures times are available at higher temperatures. The system is designed to be post cured if the higher temperature service range is required.

U561 is an advanced para-aramid unidirectional material for hard armorballistic applications. U561 consists of two plies of unidirectionalproduct, cross-plied in 0°/90° confguration. Each layer is individually con-structed within a resin matrix using Barrday's proprietary UD technologyto align the fibers in a parallel direction. Material performance is dependent on product orientation. Always ensure the fiber orientation is correct.

BarrFlexTM U590t is an advanced para-aramid unidirectional material for softarmor ballistic applications. BarrFlexTM U590 consists of four plies of unidirectional product, cross-plied in 0°/90°/0°/90° configuration. Our proprietary UD technology aligns the fibers in each layer in a parallel direction. Each layer is individually constructed within a resin matrix. Thermoplastic film is laminated to the top and bottom surfaces for abrasion resistance.
