SYNTHALAT A 077 is a polyisocyanate-curing acrylic resin. Used in 2-pack coatings, in combination with aliphatic polyisocyanates, for industrial coatings that offer good mechanical properties along with resistance to chemical attack. It has applications in marine transportation, rail and mass transit coatings, coatings and markings, and also in infrastructure road paving.

Crystic® Sandable Spray Gelcoat 44PA is an isophthalic sandable spray gelcoat for post painting application. This pre-accelerated, isophthalic, filled gelcoat has been specifically designed for applications that are to be post-painted mainly for transport industry. Crystic Gelcoat 44PA has been formulated for spray application.

Crystic® Sandable Brush Gelcoat 42PA is an orthophthalic sandable gelcoat, filled, pre accelerated and formulated for brush application. It has been specially designed for applications that are to be post-painted. This gelcoat is available in a limited range of colors.

flashproTAC F2M is a flashrust inhibitor for iron & steel, mainly for paint & coating applications. Because of its unique formulation (contrary to nearly all other FRI´s) it has a very good tox profile and no labeling.

CeraSPERSE 87NS is a polymeric compound for non-skid applications. Shamrock’s CeraSPERSE products are manufactured using a controlled crystallization process that allows the production of 1 micron wax dispersions. These wax compounds have a translucent appearance with a shiny gloss and a creamy feel. In addition to our standard products, Shamrock can develop and produce a wide range of compounds on a make-to-order basis.

S-375 is a synthetic wax with a DSC peak melt around 100°C and the corresponding low onset of melting. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provides rub and abrasion resistance. SST®-1MG is a friable grade of PTFE powder which can be reduced to an average particle size of 1 – 2 microns.

SST®-2 is a white low MW PTFE micropowder with particle size distribution at a mean value of 8 µm. CeraSPERSE 31 is carnauba wax compounded in Butyl Carbitol (Diethylene glycol monobutyl ether). This slow-evaporating, hydrophilic glycol ether provides compatibility with both polar and non-polar systems. GP® CL-7003 phenolic resin from Georgia-Pacific Chemicals is a thermoplastic novolac. It is used as a crosslinking resin for epoxy and polyester resins. Its low phenol content, convenient softening point, and melt viscosity are conducive for use in powder coatings.

Catana™ EPOX 2474 is a distilled min. 98% grade of normal-butylglycidylether. Catana™ EPOX 2474 is most efficient viscosity reducing reactive diluent for high viscosity epoxy resins such are applied in adhesives, laminating, tooling, etc.

Sunspacers™ 04.X are finely divided, optically clear, solid fused amorphous silica micronized powders. This product is specially engineered for paints, liquid and powder coatings, inks, adhesives, and thermoplastics, including UV curable compositions. These micronized powders increase corrosion resistance, reduce shrinkage, improve adhesion, and enhance surface qualities including abrasion, mar and scratch resistance. Sunspacers™ 04.X have a median particle size of approximately 3-4 microns, with a particle size range of 0.5 microns to 13 microns.

S-400-N5 is a micronized EBS (ethylene bissteramide) wax powder showing melting peaks ranging from 99 – 147°C. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provides rub and abrasion resistance. FluoroSLIP® 533 is a blend of hydrophilic synthetic wax and PTFE where the synthetic wax shows a uniform melting range peaking at 97°C.

NonSKID 8001 is a combination of micronized polypropylene and PTFE. Shamrock’s NonSKID micropowders provide resistance to sliding forces.

Optically clear, solid fused amorphous silica microspheres specially engineered for paints, coatings, inks, adhesives, and thermoplastics, including UV curable compositions. These microspheres increase corrosion resistance, reduce shrinkage, improve adhesion and impact resistance, and enhance surface qualities including mar and scratch resistance. The Sunspheres™ 15.0 have a median particle size of approximately 15.0 microns, with 90% of particles passing 45 microns.

S-483 is a spherical synthetic wax with a DSC melt peak above 110°C. It has good onset of melting and low crystallinity.
