CoatOSil™ T-Cure Silane Oligomer
CoatOSil™ T-Cure Silane Oligomer may be useful in the development of coating formulations where reactivity with a mercapto silane is desired. This patented oligomer is low in odor compared to standard mercapto silanes and can display a trio of reactive chemistries. In addition to thiol groups, silanol and diols are generated upon the hydrolysis of the silane. It behaves as a reactive diluent within a coating formulation, and is recommended for industrial maintenance applications, automotive, appliance, and coil applications; epoxy primers for metals and flooring, and aurospace and automotive refinishing applications.

Solvasperse™ AK AWH1
Solvasperse™ AK AWH1 is solvent-based and Reduced VOC, specially developed for in-plant tinting. Dispersogen® PL 30 also acts as wetting agent/compatibilzer in waterborne high PVC paints as well as in waterborne and solvent-borne low PVC lacquers. The general dosage is 0.5-1.0% in emulsion paints, 1.0-1.5% in acrylic lacquers and 0.25-0.5% in alkyd lacquers.

Emulsogen® LCN 158 is used as a nonionic emulsifier for emulsion polymerization improving the shear, temperature and electrolyte stability of polymer dispersions. The recommended usage is 2% active based on monomers.In waterborne and solvent-borne lacquers low PVC , Emulsogen® LCN 118 can be used as a compatibilizer to improve tinting strength and to reduce rub-out, water absorption, and haze effects. Dosage recommendation supply form in waterborne acrylic lacquers is 1.3-1.9% and in solvent-borne alkyd lacquers 0.33-0.66%.When used during the premixing phase in the production of waterborne emulsion paints high PVC , Emulsogen® LCN 118 also acts as a processing aid and helps to reduce the grinding time by faster deagglomeration of TiO2 and fillers. This is especially of interest in areas of hard water. The general dosage recommendation supply form for this purpose is 0.3%.

CoatOSil™ DRI waterborne silicone resin can help reduce water uptake and improve UV resistance in organic waterborne coating compositions. Its chemical structure enables CoatOSil™ DRI waterborne silicone resin to overcome the difficulties of combining silicone materials with organic waterborne resins. CoatOSil™ DRI waterborne silicone resin has been shown to improve hydrophobicity and elongation properties when used as a co-binder with acrylic latexes, resulting in more flexible coatings and sealants. CoatOSil™ DRI waterborne silicone resin can also be considered as a sole binder when maximum thermal and UV stability is a priority. When applied alone, CoatOSil™ DRI waterborne silicone resin cures at room temperature to form an elastomeric film.

Clariant Dipropylene glycol DME inerit solvent
Clariant Dipropylene glycol DME inerit solvent is a colorless liquid with a mild, pleasant odor. It is completely miscible with most common organic solvents. However, it has limited solubility in water. Due to its chemical stability and the absence of reactive groups, Dipropylene glycol DME can be used as an inert, aprotic reaction medium, e.g., for organic reactions and polymerizations. Dipropylene glycol DME is not listed as a Hazar-dous Air Pollutant, has low toxicity and offers an alternative to solvents being phased out as a result of the Clean Air Act. It is therefore used as environ-mentally friendly replacement for NMP N-methyl pyrrolidone . Dipropylene glycol DME is used in solvent-based coatings and water-based polyurethane/isocyanate coating systems , e.g., as a coalescing agent or as solvent for the isocyanate prepolymer in 2c-PUDs. Effective paint and varnish-stripping formulations can be made by combining Dipropylene glycol DME with a protic solvent. Due to its chemical inertness, it may be used in strongly acidic or alkaline industrial cleaning product, e.g., for the cleaning of metal surfaces. Dipropylene glycol DME can be used as a component in formulations designed to clean resin and polymeric-based optical lenses and associated lens molds.

Nipacide® BIT 10 W
Nipacide® BIT 10 W is an in-can biocide based on BIT. Nipacide® BIT 10 W is a light color, 10% active, VOC free, water-based solution of 1,2-benzisothiazolinone. Nipacide® BIT 10 W is a low toxicity biocide developed for the complete in-can protection of water-based products. Nipacide® BIT 10 W is effective against a wide range of microorganisms including gram positive and gram negative bacteria, yeast and fungi. Nipacide® BIT 10 W should be the biocide of choice for products with pH >8 and production temperatures of >40 C.
AGITAN 350 is a special composition with excellent stability and high efficiency. AGITAN 350 is alkali and acid resistant and can be used in a pH-range between 3 and 11.
Colortrend® XC-8745513 colorants are low-VOC, high-strength, pourable color pastes recommended for factory tinting of emulsion and water-based paints.
