AFCONA 3770 is a fluorocarbon modified acrylic polymer. Besides acting as an effective leveling agent, it also gives a strong defoaming effect as well as anti-crater properties.

AFCONA 3755 is a leveling and flow control agent for solvent-based coatings with very effective defoaming properties. It is a pure polyacrylic leveling agent, designed for applications where leveling and defoaming are both important, such as coil and can coatings. It can also be used in other foam-sensitive systems.

AFCONA 3775 is a leveling agent with very high defoaming effect for solvent-based coatings. AFCONA 3775 is an acrylic polymer tailor made for those applications that need good leveling as well as a high defoaming effect like coil coatings and other foam sensitive systems. It is recommended as a non-silicone leveling agent where silicone is not permitted due to intercoat adhesion problem.

AFCONA 3730 is a leveling agent for solvent-based and solvent-free coatings. AFCONA 3730 is a high molecular weight polyester polymer which offers good leveling properties. It is very compatible with the oil-free polyester resins that are used in can coatings. This means it is very suitable for use as a leveling agent for clearcoats and pigmented coatings, as it will not give haze, orange peel or other side effects to the coating.

AFCONA 3771 is a paint additive classified and labeled according to the CLP regulation. It is an acrylic-modified fluorocarbon, containing carboxylic acid groups to increase the polarity of the polymer, providing excellent compatibility with most common resins used in coatings.

AFCONA 3285 is a slip and leveling additive that is terminated by di-hydroxyl functional groups. This polysiloxane-based polymer enables it to crosslink in polyurethane systems as well as heat-cured paints, providing permanent slip to the finished coatings. For high gloss and transparent wood coatings, it may cause some in can haziness when the dosage is higher than 0.50% in PU and AC system.

It is an acrylic-modified fluorocarbon designed to provide anti-crater, substrate wetting, and leveling performance. Compared to AFCONA 3777, AFCONA 3773 has better compatibility and leveling performance. It offers a well-balanced combination of defoaming and leveling performance, making it an ideal choice for use as a universal leveling agent.

AFCONA 3230 is an additive designed to offer excellent slip without stabilizing foam in polyurethane coatings. Most polysiloxane additives that provide good transparency also stabilize foam, and those that don't stabilize foam often adversely affect the transparency of the coating. AFCONA 3230 is specifically formulated for polyurethane systems where excellent slip is required but foam stabilization is not desired.

AFCONA 3522 is an additive to improve the surface characteristics of waterbased coatings. It is a waterbased emulsion of an organically modified polysiloxane, with the active ingredient being a hydrophobic polymer that gives water resistance and slip performance to the coating after drying. This product also offers low foam stabilization. AFCONA 3522 is recommended for use in all types of waterbased coatings.

AFCONA 3580 is a silicone-based leveling and anti-crater agent for aqueous coatings that does not influence intercoat adhesion. AFCONA 3580 is an organically modified polysiloxane with very short chain repeatable units of siloxane. These small molecules allow it to move very quickly to an area of defects. This offers very good anti-crater properties without causing intercoat adhesion problems.

AFCONA 3038 was designed as an anti-blushing agent for thermoplastic systems, an anti-popping agent for all heat-cured paints, and a flow agent for solvent-based paints. It has a better resin solubility, which promotes better flow. This compensates for its lack of silicone. AFCONA 3038 is suitable for systems where silicone is not allowed or which use high curing temperatures, such as coil and can coatings.

AFCONA 3034 is an additive designed to reduce surface tension, improve substrate wetting, and provide anti-crater performance and leveling, including vertical leveling. Its fluorocarbon modification gives it a very low surface tension, further enhancing its performance in anti-crater properties, substrate wetting, and leveling.

AFCONA 3250 is an additive designed to provide the highest slip in all solvent-based coatings without stabilizing foam. It is specially developed for all solvent-based systems where slip is the most important factor and foam stabilization is undesirable. AFCONA 3250 belongs to the same family as AFCONA 3230. But while AFCONA 3230 is effective only in polyurethane coatings, AFCONA 3250 works in all solvent-based coatings.

AFCONA 2524 is an effective water-based defoamer for PU and acrylic-based emulsions. It is a silicone-based defoamer suitable for all types of water-based systems, including those with PVC concentrations of up to 25%. It is also suitable for emulsions based on a combination of acrylic and polyurethane.

Unlike other organically modified polysiloxanes, AFCONA 3236 acts as a defoamer and does not stabilize foam in most systems, making it suitable for foam-sensitive applications such as floor coatings and high-build systems.

AFCONA 3670 is an anti-crater, substrate wetting and leveling agent for solvent-based coatings. AFCONA 3670 is an improved version of AFCONA 3777 on managing surface control of coatings. It has lower surface tension than AFCONA 3777. The combination with a suitable polysiloxane for better overall performance is highly recommended.

With this modification, it enhances coatings slip performance and surface smoothness. The slip characteristic is dry type, which makes it very suitable for wood coatings and thermoplastic character resins.

AFCONA 3030 is a slip and leveling additive for both solvent and water-based systems. It is a polyether-modified polysiloxane and is recommended as a slip and leveling agent to prevent Bénard Cells and provide leveling and prevent craters. It can be used in both water- and solvent-based applications, though it may stabilize foam in water-based coatings.

AFCONA 3700 is a wetting, leveling and flow control agent for solvent-free and solvent-based coatings with excellent anti-crater properties. AFCONA 3700 is a highly fluorocarbon modified polyacrylic polymer. It has very low surface tension and therefore it can substitute and perform as silicones without the side effects of silicones.

AFCONA 3033 is an additive designed to improve the slip and leveling performance of solvent-based coatings. It is an end-modified special polysiloxane, which enhances the dry slip characteristics of coatings, making it particularly suitable for wood coatings and thermoplastic resins.

AFCONA 3239 is an additive designed as a slip and leveling agent that also offers defoaming. It is a very suitable leveling agent for epoxies, and will not stabilize foam, but instead act as an effective defoamer in such systems.

AFCONA 3777 is an anti-crater, substrate wetting and leveling agent for solvent-based coatings. It is the 1st generation of fluorocarbon modified polyacrylic. Recommended as non-silicone leveling agent where silicone is not permitted due to intercoat adhesion problems. However, we highly recommend a combination with a suitable polysiloxane for better overall performance.

AFCONA 3280 is a special modified polysiloxane that is soluble in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, esters and ketones, but insoluble in water. It offers slip, defoaming, and improvement of surface characteristics without hurting intercoat adhesion. Additionally, it offers better hot water resistance than other polyether modified polysiloxanes.

AFCONA 3085 is a slip and leveling agent terminated with hydroxyl functional groups. It is a polysiloxane-based polymer with di-hydroxyl functional groups at both ends, allowing it to cross-link in polyurethane systems and heat-cured paints. With its cross-linking properties, AFCONA 3085 is specially designed to give permanent slip to polyurethane coatings and heat-cured paints.

AFCONA 2727 is a very effective defoamer and air-releaser for filled and unfilled epoxy, UPE, and polyurethane systems. It is a silicone-based product developed to aid in the rapid de-aeration of polyurethane and epoxy compounds used in flooring or general industrial applications. This is the most effective defoamer for epoxy self- leveling systems.
