HALOX® CW-291 is a white, non-refractive, corrosion-inhibiting pigment used in protective coating systems. It is not recommended for use in immersion or semi-immersion environments. HALOX® CW-291 has the lowest oil absorption of all our borosilicate products and is recommended for use in protective coating systems based on alkyd technology. Because of its low oil absorption, HALOX® CW-291 is specifically suggested for use in high-solids, medium-gloss topcoats, DTM (direct-to-metal) finishes, and self-priming systems. HALOX® CW-291 is compliant with ASTM D 4288-83, specification for calcium borosilicate pigment type 1, class B.

LIOPTAL 541 is a short-oil alkyd resin modified with phenol resin. Due to its composition, LIOPTAL 541 is a special-purpose binder for air and stove drying primers with very short drying times and excellent overspray tolerance. It has applications in primers and lacquers, industrial coatings, industrial maintenance, marine coatings, and transportation.

SYNTHALAT E 405 is a short-oil, non-drying alkyd resin. It is suitable for nitrocellulose wood finishes with a good body. It offers good solvent evaporation and sandability. It can also be used as a colorless and pigmented acid-curing wood finish with a combination of urea resins. It has applications in furniture, wood flooring, furniture coatings, and industrial coatings.

SYNTHALAT QL 1910 is a high-solid, long-oil alkyd resin. This is suitable for premium decorative paints, interiors, and exteriors as well. It offers good gloss retention and low-dark yellowing. And this is predominantly used as a sole binder. It has applications in wood coatings and finishes, furniture coatings, decorative paints, and architectural coatings.

SYNTHALAT W 30 is a water-thinnable, short-oil alkyd resin. It is recommended for water-dilutable corrosion protection priming paints with good elasticity and hardness. It has applications in metal coatings, industrial coatings, marine coatings, industrial maintenance, industrial coatings, and marine transportation.

SYNTHALAT A 397 is an air-drying alkyd-modified acrylic resin. It is used for fast-drying industrial coatings with good weathering resistance, for air drying, and for forced stove drying. It has applications in industrial coatings and metal coatings.

SYNTHALAT QL 2060 is a really low-viscous, solvent-free alkyd resin with isophthalic acid. It can be used as a co-binder in combination with conventional solvent-based long-oil alkyds. Also, this can be used for wood stains. It has applications in furniture coatings, decorative paints, coatings and stains, and other consumer goods applications.

LIOPTAL B 49 is a fast-drying medium-oil alkyd resin. It is used in machine and automotive coatings, radiator paints, industrial coatings, and primers. It has applications in marine transportation, industrial maintenance, metal coatings, industrial coatings, and marine coatings.

LIOPTAL TH 406 is a short-oil alkyd modified with phenolic resin. It is used as fast-drying anti-corrosion primers, synthetic resin-based paints, shop primers, knife fillers, oven-drying industrial products, and top coats. It has applications in metal coatings, primers and lacquers, marine transportation, industrial maintenance, and marine coatings.

SYNTHALAT SR 46 is an air-drying medium-oil alkyd resin. This is recommended for high-quality, bloom-free topcoats in the agricultural machinery sector. It has applications in furniture, metal coatings, marine coatings, industrial maintenance, wood flooring, and other consumer applications.

SYNTHALAT TH 30 HS is a short-oil alkyd resin modified with phenolic resin. Air-drying and oven-drying primer coatings for industrial applications such as machinery and steel construction. The relatively low viscosity allows the preparation of primers and topcoat varnishes with significantly higher non-volatile content and good drying properties, also in thicker coating layers. It has applications in marine transportation, industrial maintenance, marine coatings, and wood flooring.

SYNTHALAT SF 653 is a long-oil-drying alkyd resin. It is a high-grade decorative and architectural paint with particularly fast drying capacity and anti-corrosive properties. It is used advantageously in house paints and architectural paints that are characterized by good brushability, exceptional drying capacity, and gloss. It has applications in decorative paints, coatings and stains, crafts and hobbies, wood coatings, and finishes.

SYNTHALAT W 46 is a water-dilutable, specially modified alkyd resin. This is recommended for water-dilutable priming and top coat paints with good drying, as well as fast initial water resistance. It has applications in metal coatings, marine coatings, industrial coatings, and maintenance.

SYNTHALAT SF 260 is a styrene-modified short-oil alkyd resin. This is recommended for very fast-drying primers, wash primers, fast-drying synthetic resin-based paints, and hammer-finish paints. It has applications in primers and lacquers, marine coatings, metal coatings, marine transportation, industrial coatings, and maintenance.

SYNTHALAT SF 690 is a long-oil alkyd resin. It is a high-grade decorative paint for indoors and outdoors, with very good brushability and very little dark yellowing. It has applications in furniture coatings, stationery, art and office supplies, crafts and hobbies, decorative paints, and coatings and stains. 

SYNTHALAT D 272 is a long-oil isophthalic acid alkyd resin. This is suitable for VOC-compliant wood stain, glaze, and clear coats with good penetration and weather resistance. It has very good compatibility with various medium- and long-oil alkyd resins. It has applications in industrial coatings, Craft and hobby, furniture coatings, wood flooring, and other packaging and paper applications.

SYNTHALAT PL 754 is a urethane modified long-oil alkyd. This is suitable for fast-drying industrial and anti-corrosive lacquers for steel and metallic substrates. It is also recommended for 1-component wood and parquet flloring. It has applications in architectural coatings, metal coatings, marine coatings, industrial coatings, and also in other consumer applications.

SYNTHALAT PWM 883 is a solvent- and surfactant-free urethane alkyd emulsion based on medium-oil resin with a residual amount of xylene < 0.1%. This product is suitable as a sole binder for fast-drying water-based industrial lacquers with a reduced number of dryers. Films based on this product show very high pendulum hardness. Also, lacquers based on this product show early water resistance and good chemical resistance against petrol and synthetic fuels. It has applications in architectural coatings, metal coatings, furniture coatings, wood flooring, decorative paints, coatings, and stains.

SYNTHALAT PWL 926 is a solvent-free alkyd emulsion based on long oil resin that is amine- and ammonia-free. This product is suitable for high-grade decorative and architectural paints with particularly fast drying capacity and anticorrosive paint. It has applications in wood flooring, metal coatings, architectural coatings, and other consumer applications.

SYNTHALAT F 334 is a short-oil alkyd resin. This product is suitable for primers and single-coat laquers in aromatic-free solvents for universal use with good adhesion to steel, wood, and non-ferrous metals. It has applications in primers and lacquers, marine transportation, marine coatings, industrial coatings, and industrial maintenance. 

SYNTHALAT F 330 is a short-oil, air-drying alkyd resin. This is suitable for air-drying general purpose primers that can be overpainted with stoving, nitrocellulose, PVC, chlorinated rubber, and 2-component acrylic lacquers without lifting. It has applications in industrial maintenance, marine transportation, marine coatings, primers and lacquers, and metal coatings. 

SYNTHALAT A 526 HS is a thermoplastic, high-solid acrylic resin. It was especially developed as a sole binder for road marking paints. The marking paints produced based on this acrylic resin are known to be quick-drying, have good permanent elasticity, and have good color stability. It has applications in architectural coatings, craft and hobby, metal coatings, and other consumer applications.

SYNTHALAT F 477 is an air-drying medium-oil alkyd resin. It is used for fast-drying industrial paints with good gloss retention, like in machine and vehicle coatings. Without the addition of cobalt, it is suitable for radiator paints with a low yellowing tendency. It has applications in architectural coatings, industrial coatings, wood coatings and finishes, wood flooring, and metal coatings as well.

LIOPTAL 836 is a short-oil-drying alkyd resin. This short-oil alkyd resin is ideal for air-drying primers, as well as single and top coats and good dipping bath stability. Due to its low oil content, this yields quick-drying glossy top coats. Dipping coatings based on LIOPTAL 836 have excellent tank stability. It has applications in primers and lacquers, metal coatings, and industrial coatings.

SYNTHALAT W 48 is a water-thinnable, specially modified alkyd resin. It is recommended for water-thinnable top coat formulations with good color retention and very good water resistance. It has applications in wood flooring, furniture coatings, industrial maintenance, wood coatings and finishes, marine coatings, and transportation.

SYNTHALAT SF 740 HS is a long-oil, drying, high-solid (HS) alkyd resin. This product is recommended for high-quality decorative paint for internal and external applications. It has excellent brushability and filling capacity, minimal dark yellowing, and excellent gloss retention. It has applications in architectural coatings, wood flooring, furniture coatings, decorative paints, and other consumer applications.

LIOPTAL ES 43 is a short-oil alkyd resin. Combined with nitrocellulose for wood and metal finishes with rapid solvent evaporation and good resistance to water and alcohol. It has applications in furniture, wood flooring, furniture coatings, wood coatings and finishes, and industrial coatings.

AFCONA 3030 is a slip and leveling additive for both solvent and water-based systems. It is a polyether-modified polysiloxane and is recommended as a slip and leveling agent to prevent Bénard Cells and provide leveling and prevent craters. It can be used in both water- and solvent-based applications, though it may stabilize foam in water-based coatings.

Domalkyd 0545 40 Wa is a PU modified alkyd emulsion without organic solvents designed for yellowing-resistant top coats and onecoat paints for industrial application (air and forced drying) on wood, steel and aluminum with excellent gloss retention and elasticity. This resin contains no emulsifiers and may be thinned with water at all ratios. Coating systems based on Domalkyd 0545 40 Wa exhibit very rapid physical drying.
