By blending with a high Tg grade DIACRON, it exhibits excellent adhesion and bendability to plastic films, moldings and metals such as aluminum, copper and iron. AFCONA 5220 helps to wet and disperse inorganic pigments, mainly TiO2, and extenders. It helps to wet and disperse inorganic pigments, mainly TiO2, and extenders. AFCONA 5220 is special designed as an effective dispersant for TiO2. Therefore, recommended for pure white systems.

AFCONA 3730 is a leveling agent for solvent-based and solvent-free coatings. AFCONA 3730 is a high molecular weight polyester polymer which offers good leveling properties. It is very compatible with the oil-free polyester resins that are used in can coatings. This means it is very suitable for use as a leveling agent for clearcoats and pigmented coatings, as it will not give haze, orange peel or other side effects to the coating.

SYNTHOESTER C 455 is a cyclo-aliphatic, hydroxyfunctional polyester resin. It is recommended to use it in combination with melamine resin for highly durable stoving enamels with excellent weathering and color stability. It has applications in industrial coatings, can coatings, metal coatings, and coil coatings.

SYNTHALAT A 147 HS is a hydroxyl group containing polyester and acrylic resin. Used in combination with polyisocyanates for air- and ovendrying 2-pack high-solid clear- and pigmented top coats for metals and plastics with high mechanical properties, high gloss and body, good weather- and chemical resistance.

SYNTHOESTER CC 55 is an oil-free, saturated polyester that is water-thinnable after neutralization. Following neutralization with DMEA, Synthalat CC 55 is combined with melamine resins, particularly the HMMM type, to produce low-yellowing, water-thinnable stoving paints for stoving temperatures up to 150°C, which show good gloss and a good technological profile. It has applications in can coatings, industrial coatings, metal coatings, and coil coatings. 

SYNTHALAT A-TH 1141 is a hydroxyl group containing, high-solid polyester containing acrylic resin. Used in combination with polyisocyanates for air- and ovendrying 2-pack high-solid clear- and pigmented top coats for metals and plastics with high mechanical properties, quick physically drying, high gloss and body, excellent weather- and chemical resistance. < 420 VOC at spray viscosity. It has applications in industrial coatings and in automotive OEM coatings.

SYNTHOESTER W 142 is a waterborne, cyclo-aliphatic polyester resin containing hydroxyl groups. It is recommended to use 1 and 2 pack waterborne coatings crosslinkable with hydrophobic melamine resins for oven-drying topcoats above 110°C on metal and glass substrates and with polyisocyanates for air- and forced-drying top coats on metal, glass, wood, and plastic substrates with very good adhesion, high mechanical values, weathering, and chemical resistance. It has applications in metal coatings, industrial coatings, and automotive OEM coatings.

SYNTHOESTER 1080 is a highly branched, saturated polyester containing hydroxyl groups. If combined with aliphatic or aromatic polyisocyanates, it creates air- and oven-drying two-component lacquers that produce tough and highly chemically resistant films. It has applications in craft and hobby, metal coatings, industrial coatings, stationary art and office supplies, and other consumer applications.

SYNTHOESTER TS 2245 is a siloxane-modified, cycloaliphatic, hydroxyfunctional, high-solid polyester resin. This can be cross-linked with polyisocyanates for high-performance, air- and forced-drying 2-pack top coats. It has applications in automotive OEM coatings, marine coatings, metal coatings, marine transportation, and industrial maintenance.

SYNTHOESTER 1179 is a highly elastic, hydroxyl group-containing polyester. It is recommended to use it in combination with suitable isocyanates for so called soft feeling paints. It has applications in industrial coatings, coil coatings, automotive OEM coatings, metal coatings, and can coatings.

SYNTHALAT A 149 HS is a hydroxyl group-containing, high-solid, polyester-containing, acrylic-resin. Used in combination with polyisocyanates for air- and ovendrying, 2-pack high-solid clear- and pigmented top coats for metals and plastics with high mechanical properties, quick physically drying, high gloss and body, excellent weather- and chemical resistance. < 420 VOC at spray viscosity. 

SYNTHOESTER 1680 is a hydroxyl-group-containing polyester. It is used in combination with Desmodur N for high-quality two-pack paints, including 2-pack automotive reinishing paints. This product belongs to the painting and coatings market. It has applications in industrial coatings and in metal coatings.

SYNTHOESTER HD-165 is a polyester containing hydroxyl groups. It is recommended to use it in combination with aliphatic or aromatic polyisocyanates to obtain two-component coatings with low temperature flexibility and good weathering resistance. This can be used to elastify different acrylic resins. It has applications in metal coatings, industrial coatings, coil coatings, wood flooring, and automotive OEM coatings.

SYNTHOLUX 197 PE is an aadiation-curing, low-viscosity polyester acrylate resin that is solvent-free. It is used in UV- and electron beam-curing primers and top coats for wood, paper, plastics, and printing inks. It has applications in construction adhesives, industrial adhesives and sealants, wood coatings, and finishes.

SYNTHOESTER 1130 is a saturated polyester containing hydroxyl groups, modified with non-drying fatty acids. It is used in combination with isocyanate pre-polymers, such as Desmodur L, IL, HL, N, and VL, for air-drying two-component polyurethane coatings. It has applications in wood flooring, furniture coatings, industrial coatings, and wood coatings and finishes.

SYNTHOESTER CC 42 is an oil-free, saturated polyester resin. It is recommended to use it with suitable melamine and benzoguanamine resins; it is used in the can and coil coating sector. It has applications in metal coatings, industrial coatings, can coatings, and coil coatings.

SYNTHOESTER 1165 is a low-branched, saturated hydroxy polyester. It is recommended for two-component paints with outstanding weatherability. It has applications in metal and industrial coatings.

SYNTHOESTER 215 HS is a hydroxyl group containing, high solid polyester resin. It is recommended to use it in combination with melamine resins and CAB for base coat enamels. It is also used with aliphatic polyisocyanates for air- and oven-drying 2-pack high-solid laquers and fillers with high mechanical properties, high gloss and body, and very good chemical and weather resistance. It has applications in primers and lacquers, marine transportation, wood flooring, industrial maintenance, marine coatings, and automotive OEM coatings.

SYNTHOESTER 1110 is a branched, saturated polyester containing hydroxyl groups. Used in combination with aromatic polyisocyantes for air- and stove-drying two-component coatings. It is used with desmodur L as the crosslinking partner for anti-corrosive primers with excellent adhesion. It has applications in industrial coatings, wood flooring, furniture coatings, packaging, and paper applications.

SYNTHOESTER 1018 is a highly branched, saturated polyester containing hydroxyl groups, modified with a low-molecular-weight fatty acid. Used in combination with aliphatic or aromatic polyisocyanates, air- and stove-drying two-component coatings have good weathering resistance. The main application of this product is in the furniture field with the Desmodur combination. It has applications in industrial coatings and metal coatings.

SYNTHOESTER HD-080 is a flexible polyester containing hydroxyl groups. It is recommended to use it in combination with aliphatic polyisocyanates to obtain two-component coatings with low-temperature flexibility and good weathering resistance. The resin can be used to elastify different acrylic resins. It has applications in coil coatings, industrial coatings, metal coatings, and can coatings.

SYNTHOESTER 1690 is a hydroxyl-group-containing polyester. This product can be combined with Desmodur N for high-quality two-pack paints and includes two-pack automotive refinishing paints. It has applications in industrial coatings and metal coatings.

SYNTHOESTER 1170 is a linear polyester containing hydroxyl groups. It is primarily recommended for elastizing synthoester combinations with aliphatic and aromatic isocyanate prepolymers. It has applications in metal coatings, coil coatings, industrial coatings, and can coatings.

SYNTHOESTER TS 4309 is a highly flexible, cycloaliphatic, saturated polyester. It is recommended to use aliphatic polyisocyanates in very flexible 2-pack coatings, especially for soft-feeling coatings. The resin can also be used to increase the flexibility of acrylic resins and aliphatic polyesters, like SE 186 HS, for yellowing-resistant top coats. It has applications in industrial coatings, coil coatings, can coatings, metal coatings, and automotive OEM coatings.

It has applications in marine transportation, marine coatings, automotive OEM coatings, metal coatings, wood coatings, and finishes.

AFCONA 6225 is a dispersant and emulsifier for universal colorants, color acceptance additive. AFCONA 6225 is an updated version of AFCONA 6220. It offers better dispersing performance as well as better color acceptance in decorative paints. emulsify water into solvent-based coatings. This is especially helpful in long oil alkyds, where it can improve the color acceptance of universal commercial colorants.
