HALOX® 570 LS is a ready-to-use liquid version of our popular organic corrosion inhibitor, HALOX® 570, which requires no dilution. It is designed for use in water-based industrial and decorative coatings to provide flash rust and long-term corrosion protection on metal surfaces. It is especially effective along weld seams to prevent galvanic corrosion. HALOX® 570 LS may be used in formulations based on water-based acrylics, epoxy esters, 2-component epoxy, water-reducible alkyds, and water-based polyurethanes. HALOX® 630 is a liquid organic corrosion inhibitor for solvent-borne protective coatings on metal surfaces. It may be used in solventborne clear or pigmented coatings and in systems such as 2-pack epoxy systems, high-solids epoxy esters, alkyds, acrylic resins, and 2 pack polyurethane primers. However, in bake systems, the temperature should not exceed 150°C. It should be noted that yellowing may be observed with reactive isocyanates. SYNTHALAT A 200 is an acrylic/epoxide resion cross-linked with polyisocyanate. It is used in combination with aliphatic polyisocyanates for air-drying and oven-drying two-component primers with excellent filling properties, quick drying, and good adhesion to steel, aluminum, and zinc, which gives good results in condensed moisture tests and salt spray tests. Wherever there is a requirement for maximum corrosion resistance and adhesion, this type of 2-component primer is used.
