LIOPTAL A 424 is a heat-reactive acrylic resin cross-linkable with melamine resins. SYNTHOESTER 215 HS is a hydroxyl group containing, high solid polyester resin. It is recommended to use it in combination with melamine resins and CAB for base coat enamels. It is also used with aliphatic polyisocyanates for air- and oven-drying 2-pack high-solid laquers and fillers with high mechanical properties, high gloss and body, and very good chemical and weather resistance. It has applications in primers and lacquers, marine transportation, wood flooring, industrial maintenance, marine coatings, and automotive OEM coatings.

LIOPTAL ES 43 is a short-oil alkyd resin. Combined with nitrocellulose for wood and metal finishes with rapid solvent evaporation and good resistance to water and alcohol. It has applications in furniture, wood flooring, furniture coatings, wood coatings and finishes, and industrial coatings.

DCL 1419 Quinacridone Violet, PV.19 is a bright, blue-shaded quinacridone with a similar shade to thioindigo red, and it has excellent overall properties. This pigment is FDA-approved (Section 178.3297) and is recommended for use in inks, high-grade industrial paints, implement enamels, agricultural equipment, and powder coating applications.

AFCONA 3778 is a leveling agent for solvent-based and solvent-free coatings. It is a pure polyacrylic leveling agent. Polyacrylics are well known for flow and leveling performance. AFCONA 3778 also acts as a defoamer and deareator in most coating systems. It does not interfere with intercoat adhesion.

AFCONA 5010 is tailor made as an effective dispersant for TiO2 and extenders. It helps to wet and disperse inorganic pigments making it an effective dispersant for TiO2. However, if a white base will be tinted with other colors later, AFCONA 4010 would be a better choice.

AFCONA 3758 is a leveling and flow control agent for solvent-based coatings with anti-crater properties. AFCONA 3758 is a special modified polyacrylic polymer. It reduces drastically surface tension of organic coating systems. This, together with good compatibility in most solvent-based systems and with minimal foam stabilizing effect, makes it very effective as an anti-crater and flow control agent for all solvent-based coatings.

AFCONA 3280 is a special modified polysiloxane that is soluble in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, esters and ketones, but insoluble in water. It offers slip, defoaming, and improvement of surface characteristics without hurting intercoat adhesion. Additionally, it offers better hot water resistance than other polyether modified polysiloxanes.

Pangel B20 is a powdered additive with a high thickening and anti-settling capacity for intermediate polarity systems, particularly recommended for systems based on aromatic and unsaturated polyester type solvents. It provides thixotropic, suspension and sagging-resistance properties to systems based on aromatic and unsaturated polyester type solvents, Pangel B20 does not require the use of a polar activator for its dispersion.

Pangel B10 is a powdered additive with a high thickening and anti-settling capacity for intermediate-low polarity systems, particularly recommended for systems based on white spirit type solvents. The dispersion process of Pangel B10 is similar to that of other solid components of the formulation, being necessary to ensure appropriate product wetting and the application of sufficient mechanical energy (shear). Equipment such as cowles, dissolvers, silverson types, colloidal mills, horizontal, vertical, and basket grinding equipment are enough to obtain a good dispersion.

Crestakyd® 30-5016 is a chain stopped alkyd for rapid air drying industrial paints and low bake enamels with excellent resistance to oils, greases and water. It is suitable for use in vehicle and machinery finishes, can be air-dried, force-dried or stoved. Air drying finishes are tack free in 30 minutes with good through drying properties.
