Dynasylan® MTMS is an alkyltrialkoxysilane, holds a pivotal role in sol-gel systems. It appears as a colorless, low-viscosity liquid. Notably trifunctional, all three alkoxy groups possess hydrolytic capability, while the methyl group introduces organic character. Hydrolysis instigates the formation of silanol groups, which subsequently engage in condensation reactions to establish robust siloxane bonds (-Si-O-Si-). This condensation process coincides with hydrolysis after a threshold of silanol groups emerges. Hydrolysis and condensation rates depend on pH, concentration, solvent, temperature, and the catalyst.

Dynasylan® 1122 is a secondary aminofunctional ethoxysilane, characterized by two symmetric silicone atoms. It functions as an adhesion promoter between inorganic materials (such as glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (including thermosets, thermoplastics, elastomers). In addition to its role as a surface modifier, Dynasylan® 1122 can be employed for the chemical modification of various substances.

Dynasylan® VPS 7163 is an exceptional silane solution offered by Evonik, specifically designed for use in 1K/2K polyurethanes, including reactive hot melt adhesives. This innovative product serves as a valuable tool for formulators, addressing the issue of inadequate adhesion on specific metals and challenging polymer substrates. With Dynasylan® VPS 7163, the need for a primer can be eliminated, providing an efficient solution to enhance bonding performance.

Dynasylan® AMMO is a bifunctional organosilane, presents a reactive primary amine and hydrolyzable inorganic methoxysilyl groups. Its dual reactivity enables chemical bonding to both inorganic materials (e.g., glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (e.g., thermosets, thermoplastics, elastomers). Functioning as an adhesion promoter and surface modifier, Dynasylan® AMMO is a clear, colorless liquid with an amine-like odor. It shows solubility in alcohols and aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons.

StanChem Polymers SC 6458 is a 100% acrylic copolymer that exhibits excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates including metal, wood and cementitious surfaces. SC 6458 is self-crosslinking and is capable of crosslinking with urea-formaldehyde or melamine binders.

StanChem Polymers SC 6257 is emulsion polymer that can be used as a binder for a variety of coatings for different substrates. Coatings formulated with SC 6257 exhibit good clarity, water resistance, abrasion resistance and excellent adhesion properties.

StanChem Polymers SC 6477 is a highly efficient, alkali-swellable acrylic emulsion that is recommended for thickening synthetic emulsions. SC 6477 can be incorporated directly into a binder system. Thickening begins with the addition of ammonia, sodium hydroxide or an amine to raise the pH to 7.0-8.0 for maximum thickening.

VISIOMER® HEMA-P 100 is a monofunctional methacrylate with a phosphate group in the side chain. It enables superior adhesion to polar surfaces such as metals, glass, ceramics, and concrete. In direct-to-metal coatings, it enhances corrosion resistance and improves film strength. This monomer can be used as a functional co-monomer in acrylic emulsions for coating resins, as a reactive co-diluent in composite resins, or as an adhesion promoter in adhesive formulations.

DIACRON™ FC-3294 is a polyester resin with excellent solvent solubility and is optimal as a binder for paints and inks. It exhibits excellent adhesion to plastic films, moldings and metals such as aluminum, copper, and iron. It improves hardness, heat resistance, toughness, and solvent resistance by using curing agents such as isocyanates and epoxy resins.   Features: Excellent pigment dispersion. DIACRON™ FC-1588 is a polyester resin with excellent solvent solubility. It is a low molecular weight (Mw)-grade of ER-535 and is optimal as a binder for paints and inks. Especially, the use of organic solvents can be reduced because low viscosity high-solid solutions are possible. It improves hardness, heat resistance, toughness, and solvent resistance by using curing agents such as isocyanates and epoxy resins.   Features: Low temperature fusion Excellent metal adhesion Excellent pigment dispersion. It is a high Tg and a low molecular weight (Mw)-grade and is optimal as a binder for paints and inks. Especially, the use of organic solvents can be reduced because low viscosity high-solid solutions are possible. It improves hardness, heat resistance, toughness, and solvent resistance by using curing agents such as isocyanates and epoxy resins.   Features: Excellent chemical resistance Heat-resistant Excellent pigment dispersion.
