Mosselman Beeswax White EP 10 (8012-89-3) is an Off-white wax. translucent when thin. with a fine-grained. matt and non-crystalline fracture; when warmed in the hand it becomes soft and malleable. It has an odor similar to that of yelow beeswax. though fainter and never rancid; It is tasteless and does not stick to the teeth.

Mosselman Carnauba Wax T4 (8015-86-9) occurs on the leaves of a species of palm Copernica prunifera (synonym to Copernica cerifera) which grows in Brazil.

SFX Ice Wax and Glass Wax has been used in many of the blockbuster movies and series you have seen recently. Ice Wax can be used to build ice sculptures and ice structures that, crucially, don’t melt. You have seen our (transparent) product used for icicles, ice altars, frozen lakes. Our wax is used by artists, SFX specialists, studios and companies around the world because of it’s quality and safety on stage or set. This wax can be heated and hand poured when molten. Used with molds (ideally silicone rubber molds or silicone coated molds), our Ice Wax can be used to create glass-like items and theatrical glass structures. You can even create bottles, jars, glass sheets. Props and items made with our Ice Wax and Glass Wax are being safe to break or shatter if needed, although out SFX Shatter Wax is specifically designed for shattering on set. Casting Wax Spures 1584 is a medium wax, offering ample flexibility and sufficient rigidity making this wax particularly suited for making sprues. Sprues are soft and pliable wax extrusions used in lost wax casting for gating and runner systems. Sprues form a mount for the wax pattern and create a channel for the elimination of wax. They form a channel for the entry of molten metal, providing a reservoir to compensate for alloy shrinkage.

Paraffin Container Candle Wax Slab is based on low melting paraffin waxes and is suitable for container filling. It has been especially developed for the use in glass jars and similar containers for “one fill” operations.

BW-429 yellow microcrystalline wax is soft, flexible, and has a 165°F melt point.

Mosselman Lanolin 75 EO (61790-81-6) is a polyoxyethylene condensate of lanolin with 75 moles of ethyleneoxide. It is a hard pale yellow wax with a faint fruitly odor. Lanolin 75 EO is particulary indicated for use in aqueous or aqueous-alcoholic lotions, mainly in shampoos, skin cleansing and after-shave lotions.

BW-910 is a petroleum-based specialty wax blend with soy for single pour, scented container candles. This wax blend is offered in slabs and bulk format, is white, with a soft, smooth appearance, formulated for a high fragrance load.

BW-436 is a white, fully refined paraffin wax with a 150°F melt point.

Mosselman Stearic Acid 1855 Beads (67701-03-5) is the most common saturated fatty acid occurring in natural fats. The commercial stearic acid contains palmitic and stearic acid.

This product is a fully refined paraffin and microcrystalline wax blend with a mid-range melt point and is white in color.

BW-431 white microcrystalline wax is hard, brittle, and has a 180°F melt point.

BW-929 is an all natural 100% soy blend for single pour scented container candles. This blend is offered in slabs, pastilles and bulk format, is off-white, with a smooth appearance and formulated for a high fragrance load.

Slush Casting Wax - Winter, Soft is a high quality, soft casting wax for lost wax casting. It casts easily, withstands handling when cold without cracking and it burns out cleanly. This sculpture wax is soft and pliable, designed for slush casting in flexible molds. It is an excellent general purpose casting wax that exhibits good results in a wide variety of sculpture applications. Formulated to leave minimum to no residue, our soft slush casting wax can be used in winter or whenever the environmental temperature proves to be challenging for working with hard waxes. This wax can be blended with other casting waxes like our medium or hard slush casting waxes to achieve the desired consistency.

BW-433 is a white, soft, fully refined paraffin wax with a 120°F melt point.

SFX Shatter Wax is used in many movies. You have seen windows being jumped through, bottles being smashed on heads, all sort of glass and ice props being destroyed on set is made of this material. Many are made with our Shatter Wax, a clear, ice-like material designed to resemble ice and glass for special effects and prop manufacture. Shatter wax is hard/very brittle for shattering effects and can be customized to achieve the desired hardness. BW-439 is a white, fully refined paraffin wax with a 160°F melt point.

Beeswax Yellow USP 34 NF 29 (8012-89-3) is yellow to light brown wax with a fine-grained, matt and non-crystalline fracture; when warmed in the hand it becomes soft and malleable. It has a faint and characteristic odor. It is tasteless and does not stick to the teeth.

SFX Gel Wax is for Special Effects and is easily melted and molded clear. You’ll be able to create impressive props, including body parts, long term food displays, ice cubes, etc. This is due to our wax being a dimensionally stable, jelly/gel-like material. Sometimes used instead of silicone rubber, Gel Wax is a specially formulated medium for all those special effects were you need a substance resembling jelly. Using wax on set adds consistency to the filming, it’s practical, and eliminates the risk of spillage or melting.
