STEPANOL® WA-100, derived through Stepan's advanced sulfation process of fatty alcohol with SO3, is a high-quality, spray-dried sodium lauryl sulfate powder with remarkable purity. Its versatility shines through, as it serves as an excellent foaming agent and mouth dispersant in dentifrices. Notably, its low levels of unsulfated material eliminate the bitter taste often associated with other sodium lauryl sulfates, enhancing the overall sensory experience in toothpaste formulations.

SILFOAM® SRE is a versatile antifoam that contains 20% active ingredients and 33% solids. It is relatively rich in emulsifier but has a low viscosity, making it easy to measure accurately. SILFOAM® SRE also demonstrates high resistance to alkalis and acids, allowing for its application in a wide range of pH-sensitive scenarios.

Dissolvine M-40 has an assay of min. 81 weight percent. MGDA has three carboxylic groups and, together with the central nitrogen atom, these carboxylic groups provide strong multiple bonds with divalent and trivalent metal ions. The small molecular size enables rapid action at low temperatures and short contact time. The MGDA trisodium salt is fully REACH registered. The excellent low toxicity and low ecotoxicological profile allow for non-dangerous labeling. MGDA-Na3 is listed on EPA’s Safer Chemical Ingredients List in the United States. MDGA is a strong chelate for hard water and transition metal ions. Using MGDA as an ingredient in cleaning formulations improves the descaling and cleaning capabilities. This includes whiteness and color care benefits in laundry and stain removal abilities in automatic dish washing (ADW). Since MGDA is also a strong chelating agent for heavy metal ions, such as Fe and Cu, it enhances product stability and prevents negative effects of transition metals.

Dissolvine M-X is a high purity, versatile and readily biodegradable chelate. It can replace phosophorous-containing builders, enhance the cleaning power of a detergent, and prevent deactivation of surfactants in hard water. The active component is MGDA, a chelating agent with three carboxylic groups. Together with the central nitrogen atom these carboxylic groups provide strong multiple bonds with di- and trivalent metal ions. The small molecular size enables rapid action at low temperatures and in short contact time. The MGDA trisodium salt is fully REACH registered. Excellent low toxicity and low eco-toxicological permit non-dangerous labelling. MGDA-Na3 is listed on EPA’s Safer Chemical Ingredients List in the United States. Proxel® MB4 Preservative is a solvent-free, zero VOC, broad spectrum preservative for the protection of industrial water-based products against spoilage from bacteria, yeasts and fungi. It is a dual active blend of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT) and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (MIT) that has been specially formulated. The actual labeling requirements for the formulated product should however be discussed with your local Lonza representative.

Proxel® BD20 Antimicrobial is a broad spectrum biocide for the preservation of industrial water-based products against spoilage from bacteria, yeasts and fungi. It is a 20% aqueous dispersion of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one. Proxel® BD20 Antimicrobial is effective in a wide range of industrial aqueous-based products such as emulsion paints, water-based adhesives, household products, printing inks, paper coating compositions, metal working fluids, and agricultural pesticide dispersions. This product should be added to the system as early in the process as possible.

Soltellus™ 2101S is a biodegradable, anionic polymer derived from aspartic acid. Designed with versatile benefits, it serves as a polyacrylate substitute in laundry detergent. Beyond its anti-redeposition and soil removal properties, Soltellus™ 2101S offers dissolution, ion sequestering, and antiscaling capabilities.
