"In Norway, beyond the Arctic Circle, in one of the purest habitats in the world, we have been harvesting and processing Ascophyllum nodosum with great passion for over 80 years. Because this seaweed undergoes strong climate stress due to being sometimes exposed to the sun and bad weather and other times immersed into freezing Arctic waters it developed active components of the highest quality and purity. We harvest Ascophyllum nodosum following a strict process to preserve its quality, with tools and technologies that are so advanced that they leave the environment completely unchanged. Processing takes place near harvesting areas to keep all the properties intact. As well as our first site, we have built a new ultra-modern plant to process seaweed. In 2002 we joined the Valagro Group, sharing their vision: Meet people's needs using up the least amount of resources thanks to a new awareness that is able to use science for the benefit of mankind through innovation while respecting nature at the same time. Thanks to the Geapower technology system developed by Valagro, we gained complete knowledge of the Ascophyllum nodosum. We can therefore design and develop innovative solutions using seaweed for specific purposes: for agricolture and animal feed. Production chain checks, attention to the environment and to the population of the surrounding areas and the strict tests we run on our products make us a point of reference worldwide for the production and marketing of seaweed products."

"Hibernia Misiones was established in 1988 as an alcohol distillery and later transformed into what is now a fully equipped Organic Sugar Mill. It is located in the village of Santa María de Fe, 225 kilometers south of Asunción, the capital of Paraguay. This is the area where the Jesuits began their evangelization in the 16th. century. They built protected reservations and missions to educate the indigenous people and showed them how to work the soil and raise cattle. Conservation of the environment is therefore a very high priority in the local community and Hibernia Misiones plays an important and complimentary role in this regard, hence all of our products are 100% organic. Hibernia Misiones sources organically grown sugar cane from a total of over 1.200 hectares. Of this, approximately 150 hectares are in hands of some 50 farmers. We provide regular technical advice and assistance through supply of certified organic seeds and compost, enable and assist local farmers to keep their farms free of contaminants, and in compliance with certified organic standards. Special emphasis has been placed on the management and rotation of crops for example, such as beans, corn, mandioc, etc. and that, combined with strategic use of specific areas for cattle breeding, means that the small farmers have increased self-sufficiency. Our products are fully certified by CERES, from Germany, and operated according to Kosher standard rules. The organic certification process has been a very long one, and all of our sugar cane growers have been supervised and controlled since 1997 There are no circumstances where inorganic fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides can be used in our sugar cane fields or those of our independent suppliers. Our Sugars and Molasses are Organic Certified for US/Canada/EU/Japan."
