Alkar Technology is a company established in 2002 by Alain Kinard that specializes in composite materials. It offers services like development, study, calculation of laminates/structures, prototyping and small series. In 2009, it participated in the JEC World Exhibition of Composites in Paris to showcase its own product, the honeycomb with large cells. It also took part in the MIDEST Industrial Subcontracting Fair in 2009 and was nominated for the Innovation Trophies in 2015. In 2013, Victor Hallet joined the company as a partner. Alkar Technology also produces four types of sailboats for regattas.
