ECONYL® colorants are highly concentrated binder and solvent free ready to use water based pigment dispersions. The high tinting strength, VOC and APEO free colorants are recommended for in-plant tinting of various water and solvent based systems. Maximum stability and dispersability is guaranteed due to a patented wetting and dispersing agent platform.

The VINNAPAS® eco product line stands for polymer dispersions, dispersible polymer powders and solid resins derived from renewable raw materials via the biomass balance approach. VINNAPAS® eco grades are chemically identical to the corresponding basic VINNAPAS® products. VINNAPAS® eco dispersions, dispersible polymer powders and solid resins are manufactured using the biomass balance approach. This means that fossil raw materials are entirely replaced in the supply chain by renewable raw materials that are certified as sustainable. WACKER uses bio-based acetic acid that is a byproduct of the wood-processing industry and is certified as sustainable by PEFC® (Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification). The bio-based acetic acid is introduced at the beginning of the production cycle. The biomass balance approach mathematically determines the percentage of dispersions, dispersible polymer powders and solid resins made from renewable (non-fossil) raw materials. VINNAPAS® eco grades are certified to the REDcert2 standard and audited by TÜV NORD, an independent German technical inspectorate.

WhisperWeb is versatile and repeatable to compete with spun bond, melt blown, air laid, spray boned and vertically lapped.

MicroWhite products are pigmented polymers for adding colored effects to paints and coatings.

SpaceRite® a special purpose white hydrated alumina. White hydrated alumina is aluminum trihydroxide, Al(OH)3, that is produced through special processing of aluminous feedstock and stringent process control systems. The result is hydrated alumina unequaled in purity and whiteness. Although hydrated alumina is a dry powder, when heated above approximately 220ºC it decomposes in approximately 35% water and 65% alumina by weight.SpaceRite can also replace other extenders providing enhanced performance and benefits in coatings and adhesives.

VersaFlex VF 30 is a low viscosity, high solids epoxy developed as a penetrating concrete primer for polyurea applications. VF 30 penetrates and strengthens the surface of the concrete, reduces pin-hole formations and provides a chemically reactive surface to accept VersaFlex polyurea systems. Adhesion is increased with the use of VF 30 by up to three times that of unprimed concrete.

Lupasol® performance polymers are water soluble polymers. They are either homopolymers or copolymers of various polymers. Depending on their structure such polymers are anionic, nonionic, or cationic charged. They act mainly as additional additive due to their key performance. Lupasol® paper chemicals are components for the production of microcapsules which, in combination with other chemicals, give a highly efficient reactive system to produce carbonless copy papers.

IMSIL® microcrystalline silica fillers are produced from an inert, naturally occurring alpha quartz with a unique grape-like morphology. Finer micronized grades are useful in formulating higher gloss paints and systems requiring controlled particle top size such as Industrial OEM topcoat coats and non-conductive inks. Intermediate size grades offer ideal and uniform gloss control for topcoats, coil coats and increased inter-coat adhesion between primers and topcoats. Coarser grades offer high solids loading with low viscosity,  texture, anti-skid  and abrasion resistance in industrial floor coatings and exterior deck coatings.

Often, fillers have to meet very special requirements. In such cases not only good dispersion characteristics are of importance, but also mechanical and dynamic properties of the final products. Improved electrical insulation resistance, better aging and fluid resistance in many materials and improved anticorrosion properties have a crucial role to play in many areas. At Hoffmann Mineral, we developed Aktisil to meet such customer requirements. This special filler is made by treating the surface of Neuburg Siliceous Earth with chemical agents, mostly silanes. The reaction by-products (e.g. alcohol) formed during the manufacture of the different products of Aktisil are largely removed right away during the process. The coupling reaction fixes the silane to the surface of the filler. Any undesirable side-effects that can occur during mixing by direct addition of the silane are virtually eliminated. So the customer can choose from a complete product range of many different types of Aktisil. This is the result of many years of in-house experience and of close cooperation with customers. ECOTINT® Façade is a selection of 7 high exterior durability inorganic colorants optimized to balance cost and performance. These façade colorants are highly resistant against UV radiation, alkali and acids with exceptional weather fastness and are perfect for outdoor applications: exterior paints, plasters, Exterior Insulation Finishing Systems (EIFS), silicon and silicate paints.
