DiTech Specialty Binder & Resin has the lower viscosity of the two DiTech Specialty Binder & Resin available and is the preferred liquid butyl rubber for coatings applications. DiTech Specialty Binder & Resin provides gas impermeability, chemical resistance, moisture resistance, good electrical properties, and excellent vibration/sound damping qualities.

Composite Materials Surface Finish A Base White have been developed for the fiberglass industry where reduced burn characteristics are needed. When properly applied, Composite Materials Surface Finish A coats will meet ul 94v-0 requirements. Sfp gel coats are formulated with a brominated polyester resin system. Federal, state or local regulations may limit their use in certain applications. Check with the appropriate governing agency. Since the flame properties of sfp gel coats in the cured state will vary depending on catalyzation, ultimate cure, and the laminating materials used, it is suggested that the user submit samples of the entire composite for testing by an independent lab. Composite Materials Surface Finish A gel coats are designed for interior, non-water immersion service only. Because these gel coats are formulated with a brominated polyester resin, they do not have good resistance to UV and/or water attack. These gel coats are ready to use, easy to spray, sag resistant, fast curing and require only the addition of the proper amount of an appropriate methyl ethyl ketone peroxide to cure. Sfp's are available in many visually appealing colors. Certain custom color matching is available on request.

DiTech DiFunctional D is a Low viscosity 3.5% silanol fluid. DiTech DiFunctional D Polymers are a series of silanol functional fluids with various viscosities and silanol contents. They are useful in the treatment of fillers and as Anti-Structuring additives in high consistency silicone rubber and silicone Room Temperature Vulcanizing (RTV) formulations. The low viscosity grades can be used as reactive diluents for high viscosity polymers to adjust the overall viscosity of the formulation. They have excellent stability and can be used with catalytic amounts of ammonium carbonate to treat reinforcing fillers in-situ. Andisil® OH products are pure and do not contain any plasticizers or additives. Curing of the DiTech DiFunctional D can be achieved by all usual condensation crosslinkers (i.e. Alkoxy silanes, oxime silanes, acetoxy silanes) in conjunction with catalysts”the use of dibutyl tin dilaurate or stannous octoate have been found effective as catalysts for these reaction.
