Engineered for extrusion, injection molding, blow molding and film applications, these compounds are formulated to provide exceptional clarity, superior heat stability and excellent processability. For high-performance bonding in lightweight multi-material vehicles, BETAFORCE® composite bonding adhesive enables significant weight reduction, acoustic performance and corrosion protection. Design flexibility is maintained while processing performance and sustainability goals are achieved. BETAFORCE® is an ideal choice for joining carbon fiber and glass fiber composites and other dissimilar materials in a variety of lightweight designs, including modular assemblies. It can be used to bond coated metals like steel to aluminum, carbon fiber panels to steel or aluminum, and sheet molding compound (SMC) to aluminum. Recent formulations of BETAFORCE® offer a cycle time of around one minute and are currently being used for mass series production. Open times can be adjusted to accommodate specific mounting requirements in the plant, such as a quicker curing time by infrared treatment, and the initial adhesion requires no additional fixing tools.

Vamplen® are VAMP TECH’s compounds based on PP row material in copolymer and homopolymer versions. Filled and modified compositions on the basis of polypropylene are produced by POLYPLASTIC under the ARMLEN trademark. This material belongs to the polyolefine class (polypropylene), it is the most suitable for subsequent compounding to derive a number of affordable thermoplastic materials with unique mechanical properties. Materials of the ARMLEN line share the advantages of a polypropylene matrix (the lowest density of all plastics, low moisture absorption, affordability, easy to process, chemical resistance) in combination with various functional fillers (fiber glass, mineral fillers, antipyrenes, shock-resistance modifiers, and others). The POWERSIL® brand portfolio describes special WACKER silicones for applications in the transmission and distribution industry. The range also covers silicone fluids, e.g. for transformers, and special silicone pastes. All POWERSIL® products combine the product safety, quality and reliability essential for these applications, and are characterized by outstanding property profiles. POWERSIL® rubber grades, with their long-lasting hydrophobic properties, tracking and arc resistance, and good low-temperature flexibility, offer special advantages for use under severe climatic conditions, for example in coastal areas or desert climates. They are ready to process and already tailored to the customer's processing techniques as supplied. POWERSIL® silicone rubbers and POWERSIL® insulator coatings are 1 or 2-component silicone rubber grades. Depending on the processing technology, the rubber grades are cured at room temperature or high temperatures. They are processed by standard methods, such as spraying (silicone coatings), press curing, injection molding, LPMF (low-pressure mold filling) or extrusion. POWERSIL® transformer fluid is a high-purity fluid with excellent dielectric properties, very good long-term thermal stability and high ignition temperature. POWERSIL® Paste AP combines the outstanding dielectric properties of a silicone paste with excellent lubrication properties; swelling of silicone elastomers in contact with the paste is also very low. POWERSIL®products are used to manufacture insulators, surge arresters and bushings, as well as for coupling sleeves, cable terminations and plugs. The coatings are used for coating porcelain insulators. POWERSIL® Fluid is used as a coolant and insulating fluid in transformers, while the paste is used as a lubricant for push-fitting cable accessories.
