Cola® Det DEF-35 is a high-active liquid pearling agent designed for easy dispersibility at ambient temperatures. Cola® Det DEF-35 is used in pearlescent cosmetic surfactant preparations, particularly for DEA free formulations, and forms an elegant pearl in all liquid personal care formulations. It is added slowly to the batch with moderate agitation to obtain attractive pearlescence and stability. The amount of use will vary from 3-12% based on the pearl effect desired.

Colonial Chemical’s Cola®Liquid products consist of completely liquid, consumer acceptable non-DEA amides that perform like traditional alkanolamide surfactants. Cola®Liquid DT provides viscosity building and foam stabilizing properties. The product is liquid and very mild to eyes and skin. Cola®Liquid DT can be used as a substitute for 1:1 DEA amides in any application where traditional alkanolamide surfactants have been used. Cola® Cor 232 is a low foaming amine carboxylate that is extremely eff ective in inhibiting the attack of ferrous metal by aqueous solutions in synthetic metalworking formulations. When blended with other materials to raise the pH, it becomes a very eff ective corrosion inhibitor in aqueous solution. Cola® Cor 232 may also be used for alkaline cleaners.

Cola®Mulse C-356 and Cola®Mulse D-356 are effective emulsifiers for aromatic solvents, kerosene, and mineral spirits. They provide excellent wetting, detergency, and rinsing properties to solvent-based cleaners. These products are ideally suited for use in paint strippers, heavy-duty degreasers, and oil rig cleaners.

Cola®Terge LFD-C is a low foaming detergent concentrate offering outstanding detergency, wetting and rinsibility properties in acid and alkaline cleaners. Additionally, Cola®Terge LFD-C can be utilized to boost the detergency and rinsability of alkaline metal cleaner formulations based on capped low foam nonionic surfactants. Typical applications include spray, steam, and soak tank cleaning. Cola®Terge LFD-C has been tested according to Method OECD 301D and determined to be readily biodegradable.

Cola® Cor CI-24 is a water-soluble, highly effective corrosion compound for use as corrosion inhibitor in aqueous systems. Cola® Cor CI-24 is diethanolamine free, yet provides a high amount of reserve alkalinity for good corrosion protection.

Cola®Teric 2-COSF is a caprylic imidazoline derived amphoteric surfactant that provides excellent wetting, detergency, rinsibility, and effective hydrotroping properties in a wide range of electrolyte systems. This low to moderate foaming amphoteric is ideally suited for use in household and industrial cleaners, alkaline degreasers, transportation cleaners, and textile/carpet care formulations.

Cola® Cor 200 is a water-soluble carboxylate that is useful in a variety of metalworking, detergent, aerosol, and water-based coating applications. Aqueous solutions are low foaming, providing effective corrosion protection and surface activity in use treat levels (0.5 - 1.5%). For optimum rust protection, solution pH should be adjusted to 8.5 or greater with triethanolamine. Cola®Cor 200 exhibits excellent tolerance to water hardness and aqueous films dry to tack free residues. Environmentally safe; does not contain boron, phosphates, chromates, nitrites or metallic cations.

Cola®Fax 3386 is a 100% active, low foaming, aromatic based, phosphate ester with characteristics of low coefficient of friction, corrosion inhibition, high electrolyte compatibility, hydrotroping, and low toxicity. It is used in metal cleaning, chain lubricating, hydrotroping, maintenance cleaning.

Cola® Lipid C is a coconut oil derived phospholipid composed predominantly of diester and triester phosphatides with multiplechain groups. Cola® Lipid C displays a broad range of functional attributes including gentle cleansing and foaming properties, antiirritation eff ects when combined with anionic surfactants, unusually high substantivity, long-lasting skin conditioning, and broad spectrum antimicrobial activity.

Lanphos PE107 is a phosphate ester specifically developed to provide excellent stability in high alkali and electrolyte systems, providing excellent detergency wetting and corrosion inhibition. Lanphos PE107 can also be used to couple nonionic surfactants into liquid alkali detergents.

The product is obtained by ethanol extraction of Bulgarian lavender concrete which was initially extracted from fresh Lavender flowers from Lavandula angustifolia using organic solvents (either hexane or petroleum ether). The components of Bulgarian lavender absolute are very similar to the ones that can be found in Bulgarian lavender oil as the highly valued esters.

Cola®Stat 5911 is a completely formulated liquid antistatic/cleaner concentrate that is ready for simple dilution with water. It has been designed for use on glass and plastic where static charge build-up is a problem. Comparative laboratory tests against conventional glass cleaners and a leading antistatic spray have clearly shown Cola®Stat 5911 to be substantially more effective in eliminating static charge. Actual tests of Cola®Stat 59111 at recommended use levels on computer terminal screens (CRT's) have demonstrated its effective cleaning with complete static elimination and long lasting protection from static-related dust particle accumulation.

Cola® Cor 635 is a DEA-free fatty acid alkanolamide hat can be used as a corrosion inhibitor, lubricant, and secondary emulsifier for aqueous metalworking fluids. Cola® Cor 635 can be substituted for typical DEA-containing products used in synthetic and semi-synthetic systems. At use levels of 3-20%, Cola®Cor 635 offers superior corrosion protection and lubrication properties and can be combined with other anionic surfactants to create low-foaming systems. For emulsifiable oils, Cola®Cor 635 can be used to increase emulsion stability, corrosion protection, hard water stability, and storage life.

Cola®Zolines, chemically described as 1–hydroxyethyl 2–alkyl imidazolines, are classified as cationic surface active agents. Cola®Zolines and their acid salts offer the following functional properties: wetting, emulsifying, detergency, thickening, moisture displacing, corrosion inhibiting, and antistatic effects. These functional properties are useful in agricultural emulsions, industrial cleaners, paints/coatings, plastics, and petroleum applications.

Cola®Lux O2 is an amine oxide that provides excellent viscosity building, foam stability and moderate foam boosting. Cola®Lux O2 is compatible with most surfactants and will not hydrolyze in acid or alkaline systems due to the absence of amide or ester groups. Used in low concentrations, Cola®Lux O2 provides a silky feel to body washes, liquid hand soaps and other skin cleansers. Cola®Lux O2 may also function as a viscosity builder and an anti-static agent. Cola®Lux O2 is shipped preservative-free.
