MOCOM Compounds ALTECH® ABS A 1000/106 GY1116-20 is a pre-drying acrylonitrile/butadiene/styrene/copolymer with special features of easy flow and injection molding grade. It is typically used for sanitary articles, thin walled parts and other hygiene products and injection molded parts. For processing injection molding, the melt temperature should range from 200-240°C and the mold temperature should range from 50-80°C. The maximum moisture content should be less than 0.20%. For pre-drying conditions, the material should be dried in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer at 80°C for 2-4 hours, or in an air circulating dryer at 80°C for 3-6 hours depending on the moisture content.
