Andifoam DF (FGK) silicone defoamers comply with FDA Regulation 21 CFR 173.340, which covers secondary direct food additives used as defoaming agents and allows concentrations of up to 10 parts per million active silicone (dimethylpolysiloxane) in nonstandardized foods. This antifoam is also permissible as a component of paper that may come in contact with foods. See FDA Regulations 21 CFR 176.170 and 21 CFR 176.180.

Storage & Handling

- Storage and Shelf Life
The shelf life, when the container is stored unopened and under proper conditions is 12 months from the date of manufacture. For best results, store this product between 40 °F and 100 °F. Avoid prolonged storage above 100°F. If frozen or stored above 100°F, restore compound to room temperature and mix thoroughly before use.
