Andisil® 1100 Silane

1 of 500 products in this brand
Aminopropyltriethoxysilane. Maximizes the physical and electrical properties thermoset and thermoplastic composites. Silanes are used in a variety of industrial applications. Organofunctional Silanes have an organic functional end group and an alkoxy functional end group which allow the silane to act as a bridge between organic materials and inorganic substrates. The organic functional group is matched to the resin system while the alkoxy group provides the reactive site for crosslinking. These materials are useful as adhesion promoters, crosslinking agents, surface modifiers and hydrophobizing agents.

Applications

Silanes are used in a variety of industrial applications as:

  • Adhesion promoters
  • Coupling agents
  • Crosslinkers
  • Moisture scavengers
  • Resin additives
  • Surface modifiers
  • Amino-functional silane coupling agent used over a broad range of applications to provide superior bonds between inorganic substrates and organic polymers, especially for fiberglass reinforced composites
  • Maximizes the physical and electrical properties thermoset and thermoplastic composites. Filler wetting and dispersibility in the polymer matrix are also improved.
