FDA Status
Andisil® EM FGK Silicone Emulsions comply with FDA Regulation 21 CFR 173.340, which covers secondary direct food additives used as defoaming agents and allows concentrations of up to 10 parts per million active silicone (dimethylpolysiloxane) in non-standardized foods. This antifoam is also permissible as a component of paper that may come in contact with foods. See FDA Regulations 21 CFR 176.170 and 21 CFR 176.180.

The Andisil EM FGK Silicone Emulsions are supplied in 440 pound net weight plastic drums, other packaging options are available upon request. Prior to use, it is recommended that the product be gently agitated for ten to twenty minutes prior to using to insure a uniform material.

Storage & Handling

Storage & Shelf Life
The shelf life, when the container is stored unopened and under proper conditions (in temperatures above 35º - do not allow to freeze), is expected to be a minimum of twelve months.
