Reactivity

Andisil® TL products are very stable in aqueous solutions, but in alkaline solutions at room temperature, hydrolysis will occur.

  • Andisil® TL products are soluble in most common solvents such as benzene, toluene, ethanol, acetone, ethyl acetate, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, benzene, ethanol, petroleum ether and various industrial plasticizers.
  • Andisil® TL products are insoluble in water.

Storage and Shelf Life

The shelf life, when the container is stored unopened and under proper conditions (at ambient temperatures or below 50 ºF - do not allow to freeze), is expected to be a minimum of twelve months. It is not recommended to store the product outdoors since the material can become contaminated with water or moisture over time due to weather conditions.
