- ADDAPT® BioWet 450C is a wetting/leveling agent that improves Open time and Flow in Textured masonry coatings and Renders. It is very effective against
- formation of pin-holes, pores and mud cracks in textured masonry coatings and renders (Putze).
- The multifunctional nature of ADDAPT® BioWet 450C allows providing the necessary wetting properties for water based systems such as paints; plasters; adhesives;
- printing inks.
- ADDAPT® BioWet 450C is found to be an excellent carrier for water-soluble chemicals that have to be placed on/in hydrophobic surfaces.
- ADDAPT® BioWet 450C exhibits a low surface tension values under both dynamic and static conditions ( 30 mN/m).
- ADDAPT® BioWet 450C exhibits a high surface energy that leads to an excellent wetting of the coating without an increase of the water absorption (low COBB value).
- ADDAPT® BioWet 450C has a low tendency to foam
- ADDAPT® BioWet 450C is recommended to improve:
- Pigment grinding efficiency
- Reduction of pigment particle size/Wetting of pigment surface
- Wet-Edge (Open time) of renders, emulsion paints and lacquers
- BioWet 450C shows excellent compatibility with K-Silicate and Silicones.
