Fluorocarbon modified acrylic polymer
Features & Benefits

- Product Properties
- AFCONA-3770 is a fluorocarbon modified acrylic polymer. Besides acting as an effective leveling agent, it also gives strong defoaming effect as well as anti-crater properties. In most systems the defoaming effect is less than AFCONA – 3775, but better than AFCONA – 3777 or AFCONA – 3670. The anti-crater performance is almost similar to AFCONA –3777 or AFCONA – 3670.
- AFCONA-3770:
1) Improves leveling performance
2) prevents foam formation
3) works as de-aerator and defoamer
4) improves substrate wetting and anti-crater performance
5) does not interfere with intercoat adhesion - AFCONA – 3770 is suitable for all solventbased coatings especially for:
1) 2 pack PU coatings
2) 2 pack epoxies
3) Air drying alkyd paints
4) All baking enamels, especially coil and can coatings where the defoaming effect is highly needed
5) Matt finish wood coatings and sealers
6) Not suitable for unpigmented high gloss systems, due to the high defoaming effect, it will give in-can haziness.
