QuinStar® 4L is formulated as a liquid flowable designed for dilution with water and spraying with common agricultural spray equipment.

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. For any requirements specific to your state or tribe, consult the agency responsible for pesticide regulation. All applicable directions, restrictions, precautions and Conditions of Sales and Warranty are to be followed. This labeling must be in the user’s possession during application.

Precautionary Statements

CAUTION: Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through the skin. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with skin, clothing, or eyes. Avoid breathing vapor or spray mist. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.

Personal Protective Eqiupment

Applicators and other handlers must wear:

  • Long-sleeved shirt and long pants
  • Chemical-resistant gloves made of butyl rubber, natural rubber, neoprene rubber, or nitrile rubber >=14 mils
  • Shoes plus socks

Discard clothing and other absorbent materials that have been drenched or heavily contaminated with this product’s concentrate. Do not re-use them. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning and maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washables exist, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry.

User Safety Recommendations

Users should:

  • Remove clothing/PPE immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing.
  • Remove PPE immediately after handling this product. Wash the outside of gloves before removing. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing.
Environmental Hazards

This chemical has properties and characteristics associated with chemicals detected in groundwater. The use of this chemical where soils are permeable, particularly where the water table is shallow, may result in groundwater contamination. Keep out of lakes, ponds and streams. Do not apply directly to water, areas where surface water is present, or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark, except as specified on this label for use in rice. Do not contaminate water by cleaning of equipment or disposal of rinsate.
