With Additol VXW 6200 as dispersing additive you obtain with most pigments and extenders stable pigment emulsions. It increases gloss and enhances the storage stability of emulsion paints. The dispersing time is shortened, it is not foam stabilizing and it is compatible with glycoles and most wetting agents.

Suggested Uses

Additol VXW 6200 serves as dispersing additive for pigments and extenders in gloss, silky-gloss and emulsion paints. It exhibits excellent stability at longer storage time of the paints or at processing under alkaline conditions also at higher temperatures. Good effectiveness is achieved in a large pH-rangee (6 - 14).

Processing Information

Additol VXW 6200 must always be ground jointly with the pigments and the fillers.

The recommended quantities calculated on pigment are as follows:

  • inorganic pigments 0.5 - 4.0 %
  • organic pigments 4.0 - 15.0 %.

At temperatures up to 25 °C storage stability packed in original containers amounts to at least 730 days. Additol VXW 6200 is sensitive to freeze. The product is not damaged by freezing and may be used after thawing without any problem.
