Additol VXW 6394 is an wetting and dispersing agent based on a high molecular weight block copolymer with pigment affinic groups, especially for the production of resin-free, stable pigment concentrates for aqueous coatings. It prevents flocculation of the pigments and enhance stability of pigment concentrates and color strength of pigmented systems. It does not contain any organic solvents. The pigment grind should always be done resin-free.
Dosage (additive as supplied):
20 - 30 % on inorganic pigments
30 - 75 % on organic pigments
10 - 12 % on titanium dioxide
130 - 150 % on carbon black
