Additol XL 255N reduces flocculation in the case of all common organic and inorganic pigments used in air drying and stoving paint systems. Due to the effectiveness of Additol XL 255N in wetting and dispersing, not only the color strength is increased but also the gloss of coatings. Even in small quantities, Additol XL 255N shortens the grinding time of pigments and prevents settling of pigments and extenders fairly.
- Distinguishing Features
Additol XL 255N has a wider range of application than Additol XL 250 since it is more compatible with white spirit dilutable coating systems.

- Suggested Uses
Additol XL 255N can be used in all solvent-borne and solvent-free coating systems. In coating systems diluted with white spirit, particularly in wood preservative products, and in reactive alkyd/melamine resin stoving paints, the storage stability can be improved by the addition of Additol XL 255N. In two-component polyurethane coatings, no influence is observed on the potlife and drying time.
