Special Properties and Uses
  • Additol XW 6532 is a water based highly efficient dispersing additive for organic ‐ and carbon black pigments. It is recommended to be used as dispersant for the production of waterborne colorants.
  • Additol XW 6532 is especially designed to improve color acceptance of universal pigment concentrates, like colorants based on Additol XW 6535 in very critical solventborne paints. This additive supports the production of low to zero VOC paints and colorants.
  • Most recommended dosage levels as dispersing agent are as follows: 15 ‐ 50 % for organic pigments 30 ‐ 100 % for carbon black
  • As synergy additive the optimum quantity of Additol XW 6532 to improve color acceptance has to be evaluated individually. Typical dosages for these applications are 2 ‐ 5 % on basic color. In combination with our universal grinding medium Additol XW 6535 we recommend to replace 10 ‐ 25 % of Additol XW 6535 directly by Additol XW 6532 in existing formulations.
