Distinguishing Features

The delivery form BECKOPOX™ EP 309/50MAPC allows a direct use without complicated dilution process wich is necessary with the solid resin. BECKOPOX™ EP 309 shows similar properties as BECKOPOX™ EP 307 but higher flexibility of cured films and lower solid content in coating formulations.

Special Properties and Uses
  • BECKOPOX™ EP 309 is a high-molecular unmodified epoxy resin (type 9) mainly used in combination with phenolic resins for stoving systems, e. g. can coatings. Such combinations yield high-deformable coatings with excellent resistance against chemicals and foodstuff.
  • Due to its high hydroxyl value (approx. 225, calculated on solid resin) BECKOPOX™ EP 309 is very good suited for crosslinking with polyisocyanates. Such combinations yield at ambient temperature curing coatings of very high solvent-resistance.
  • For further indications please see Technical Data Sheet for BECKOPOX™ EP 309/100%.
