EBECRYL® 856 is a versatile medium-viscosity, hybrid polyester acrylate designed for flooring and furniture applications. It can be applied by direct or reverse roller coaters, providing good performance in furniture and flooring coatings. When cured by ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB), films of EBECRYL® 856 exhibit improved hardness, abrasion resistance, faster cycle time, low-temperature curing, low energy consumption, a good balance of properties, and a long pot life. Additionally, it is labeled as having a low carbon footprint (PCF), being solvent-free, and being VOC-free. This makes it suitable for floor coatings, wood coatings, and finishes.
