Applications & Uses

Herbicide Target Species
Application
  • Mix with AB™ Brand Aquatic Adjuvant and Nonionic Surfactant and dilute with water before spraying on floating pond plants for best results.
  • Subsurface plants should be treated by applying the solution (16 – 32 fl. oz. per acre foot) evenly to the plants in the water column by inserting the spray nozzle underneath the water surface.
  • While rapidly absorbed by target plants, Pond-Klear™ Aquatic Herbicide is pH sensitive with an ideal application pH of 5 – 7. Check the pH of the water immediately surrounding the treated plants as it can exceed 8.5 by early to mid-day due to photosynthetic processes. Application of this product under high pH conditions may provide only partial control and regrowth will be likely.
  • Readily tank mixes with most aquatic herbicides and algaecides.
