Technical Details & Test Data

Processing Guidelines
  • The injection temperature profile for above grade should be between 170°C to 190°C and the mold temperatures between 30°C to 40°C.
  • If the moisture content is more than 0.2%, we recommend that the pellet should be dehumidified for 3 - 4 hours at 75°C - 90°C  prior to molding.
  • Resin melt temperature and molding machine temperature should always be below 205 °C to avoid burning odor and discoloration of material.
  • Injection pressures will be higher for filling the mold than that for common injection molding plastics.
  • Overall residence time of material inside the molding machine should be kept as small as possible to avoid risk of material degradation.
  • In case a hot runner is used, an open gate with at least 1mm gate diameter advised.
Drying Conditions

If the moisture content is more than 0.2%, we recommend that the pellet should be dehumidified for 3-4 hours at 75°C - 90°C prior to molding.

Storage & Handling

Storage Conditions
  • Store in a cool and dry place and away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
  • Open bags should be consumed immediately or resealed back to avoid moisture uptake.
