Proxel® TN Preservative is a dual active, broad spectrum biocide for the preservation of industrial water-based products against spoilage from bacteria, yeasts and fungi. It is a 55% aqueous solution of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT) and hexahydro-1,3,5-tris(2-hydroxyethyl)-s-triazine, a formaldehyde release agent. It is effective in a wide range of industrial aqueous-based products. The combination of two active agents provides a quick microbial kill with long term protection. The “triazine” active agent gives enhanced head space protection in the container.

Proxel® BZ Antimicrobial is a dual active broad spectrum biocide for the preservation of industrial water-based products against spoilage from bacteria, yeasts and fungi. It is a 20% aqueous dispersion of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one and zinc pyrithione. Proxel® BZ Antimicrobial is effective in a wide range of industrial aqueous-based products, particularly in those products that are susceptible to fungal contamination. Some of those areas include emulsion paints, water-based adhesives, pigment cakes/dispersions, printing inks, textile auxiliaries, and household products.

It is a broad spectrum antimicrobial used to prevent fungal, bacterial, and algal spoilage of polymers such as PVC, polyurethane, silicone, polyolefin, polyester, and acrylic articles such as shower curtains, coated fabric, vinyl wall coverings, floor coverings, appliance gaskets, wall and floor coatings, and swimming pool, pond, and ditch liners.
