Acting as a barrier, the skin protects the organism from physical (UV, blue light …), chemical (pollutants, allergens …) and biological (virus, bacteria …) factors. More specifically, the UV exposition induces lots of damages which alter this barrier function. It is then important to protect our skin to fight against the sun rays.

Because the skin surface becomes irregular, it is less able to reflect light well. In addition, surface skin cell renewal decreases because of microcirculation that has become sluggish.

The eye contour is a very sensible face area. The epidermis is up to 4 times thinner than on other areas on the face. If there is a bad blood circulation (lymphatic or due to vascular permeability increase), subcutaneous pigments are not correctly eliminated and can accumulate. Brown shadows or bluish colors can then appear on these areas, due to this pigments accumulation or to an abnormal vascularization.

Nicknamed "blue gold", lavender has long been used for its aromatic properties in thermal baths and on linen. Native to the western Mediterranean region, it has become the emblem of Provence in France and its surrounding landscapes. This light blue or purplish-blue flower, in the form of small corollas grouped together in spikes, was highly appreciated for its soothing and healing properties.

The Bamboo water is known for its anti-inflammatory and revitalizing properties. It brings the radiance back to the skin while it soothing it. Its reparative properties provide the regeneration of the skin cells.

Rich in phenolic compounds, peach tree leaves off er antioxidant activity and protection from the harmful effects of free radicals. Also, the extract diminishes infl ammation, soothes and calms sensitive skin. It also helps fi ght against bacterial and fungal proliferation thanks to its anti-microbial benefits.

Lemon balm water helps to fight against free radicals, and thus reduces DNA damages endured by UV, as well as other effects from sun. This water has photo-protective property which allows to protect skin. Lemon balm water is also antioxidant.

Grapefruit water has the ability to improve the cutaneous microcirculation. This vasoconstrictive property allows also reducing redness. Moreover, its soothing action relieves sensitive and delicate skins, to calm pulling and discomfort sensation. Antioxidant, it helps also to fight against free radicals.

Damask rose floral water is recognized for having an antiwrinkle effect, which is ideal for use in anti-aging skincare formulations. Its astringent properties work to reduce sebum excess and even out skin tone. Finally, this floral water also boasts calming properties that effectively help soothe irritated skin.

Roman chamomile floral water is mainly used for its soothing properties, and is particularly recommended for babies’ skin. It also relieves irritated skin and redness in addition to eliminating signs of fatigue around the eye contour. Purifying and astringent, it tightens pores and is perfectly adapted to acneprone skin.

Witch hazel water is characterized by its astringent and toning action, which helps tighten pores and revives radiance in the complexion. Its vasoconstricting properties improve microcirculation and reduce redness. This water leaves skin fresh and toned.
