The addition of SCHWEGO mar 6542 to UV curing coating systems improves resistance against scratch, mar and blocking. SCHWEGO mar 6542 also improves slip, therefore smooth surfaces are formed and hence also film hardness is increased. Further compatibility is increased. The tendency to foaming and to dirt retention is reduced and gloss is preserved. SCHWEGO mar 6542 contains also a substrate wetting additive based on fluor.

- The addition amount of SCHWEGO mar 6542 is 0.05 - 0.30 %, calculated on total formulation. SCHWEGO mar 6542 can be incorporated at any stage of the production process, but should be added at the beginning of the production to ensure best distribution. For predilution one of the solvents of the formulation should be used.

- Do not store SCHWEGO mar 6542 at temperatures below 5 °C and above 30 °C. Stir it up before use. Keep it in a cool, well-ventilated place. Subject to appropriate storage, the described properties of SCHWEGO mar 6542 remain stable for at least 12 months, provided the original container is closed after use.
