Berolan offers its national and international customers (the company is export-oriented) services geared to their specific needs. Customers are given the opportunity to define the mixing sequence of their products themselves. In Arbing, these products will then be mixed exactly to customer specifications. Berolan was awarded the “Austria Quality Seal for Austrian Model Companies” in 2012 for its exemplary and innovative management and has been ISO certified for several years now."

Berolan LP 70 is a strongly surface-active air-entraining admixture and plasticizer. It has been developed especially for use in mortars based on cement, gypsum or lime. It leads to a better plaster yield, to improved workability and improves the wetting of the mortar. Related to the longer open timea tearing of the plaster surface and skin formation will be reduced. It decreases the wear of mixing units, the tendency to lumping, and the shrinkage. Irritation of the respiratory organs has been minimized. CE-Nr.: 1139-CPD-0802/09

Berolan LP 70

Berolan LP-W7 is a dried powder of sodium olefin sulphonate for general use in building material systems. It stabilizes mechanically entrained air voids. It combines excellent detergency and foaming properties with high solubility and lower irritancy than sodium alkyl sulfates and sodium alkylbenzene sulphonates. CE-Nr.: 1139-CPD-0802/09

Berolan LP-W7

Berolan LP-W4N is a low dust air entraining agent for use in gypsum, lime or cement based construction materials with excellent flow properties. It causes an improvement of working by adoption of micro air pores. The small-sized spherical pores supersede the fine grain particles and raise the slipping effect in the fresh mortar. The required dosage may vary over a wide range (0.001 to 0.05 %) and should be detected by preliminary tests, because air pore formation is dependent on several factors (mortar composition, binder grade, fresh mortar consistency, temperature, mixing time and others). The air entraining agent should be intermixed homogeneously in the dry mortar or to the dry mortar components before addition of water. Suitability tests should be run, because raising air contents cause decreasing strengths.The regional prevailing technical rules and standards about masonry mortar and plaster should be considered.

Berolan LP-W4N

Berolan LP-M1 is a water-free, highly concentrated amphoteric surfactant for the generation of air pores in concrete, mortar and cement based artificial bricks. It is used as an air-entrainer for various cement-based systems. Berolan LP-M1 may be added as delivered. The required dosage may vary over a wide range (0.01 to 0.10 %) and should therefore be evaluated in suitable tests. For first trials we recommend 0.02 % Berolan LP-M1 referred to dry substrate.

Berolan LP-M1

Berolan LP-W1 is a high-performance air-entraining (sodium lauryl sulfate) agent in powder formand an excellent wetting and plasticizing agent for mortar and plasters. Berolan LP-W1 is an excellent foaming agent and plasticizer for the manufacture of ready-to-use plasters, mortar compounds, and filling compounds containing gypsum, lime or cement. Berolan LP-W1 effects the formation of particularly fine, stable air bubbles, thereby condsiderably improving the general performance of resistance, water retention as well frost stability. Tendency towards contraction and crack formation is also reduced as is wear and tear to mixing apparatus and conveyors. Due to its surface active character, Berolan LP-W1 additionally promotes wetting of binders and other ingredients, thus entailing a swifter wetting and dispersion and reducing the tendency towards aggregation during mixing. The necessary quantity depends on the desired effect but generally lies between 0.005 – 0.1 %, calculated on the dry mix. In the majority of cases 0,01% proves sufficient to obtain adequate aeration. The equipment available must also be taken into account, where batch operated mixers generally feed more air into the mortar. CE-Nr.: 1139-CPD-0802/09

Berolan LP-W1

Berolan LP-W1HD is pure sodium lauryl sulfate, comparable to LP-W1, but with a higher bulk density. Due to its strong foaming properties, it significantly reduces surface tension and also acts as a wetting and plasticizing agent. Used as an additive in various mortar mixtures, ready-mix plasters and filling compounds, it forms a fine, stable system of air voids. Berolan LP-W1HD is suitable for applications based on plaster, lime, or cement. Its other advantageous characteristics include that it increases frost resistance and reduces susceptibility to shrinkage, cracking, and efflorescence. The dosage of LP-W1HD depends on the desired result and can vary between 0.005 – 0.1%, based on the dry mix. Since the introduction of air is also influenced by the machine equipment, the latter needs to be taken into account as well.

Berolan LP 50 is a strongly surface-active air-entraining admixture and plasticizer. It has been developed especially for use in mortars based on gypsum, lime, or cement. It leads to a better plaster yield, to improved workability, and improves the wetting of the mortar. It decreases the wear of mixing units, the tendency to lumping, and the shrinkage. Berolan LP 50

Berolan LP 80 is a strongly surface-active air-entraining admixture and plasticizer. It is used as an air-entrainer for various cement-based systems, specially qualified for renovation render. Berolan LP-80 may be added as delivered. The required dosage may vary over a wide range (0.05 to 0.5 %) and should therefore be evaluated in suitable tests. For first trials we recommend 0.2 % Berolan LP 80 referred to dry substrate.

Berolan LP-W2 is a pure sodium lauryl sulfate that has been spray-dried particularly finely. Due to the particularly high fineness, an excellent distribution in dry mortar can be achieved. This also leads to a particularly high effectiveness. Berolan LP-W2 is a high-performance air-entraining agent and an excellent wetting and plasticizing agent for mortar and plasters. Berolan LP-W2 is an excellent foaming agent and plasticizer for the manufacture of ready-to-use plasters, mortar compounds, and filling compounds containing gypsum, lime or cement. Berolan LP-W2 effects the formation of particularly fine, stable air bubbles, thereby considerably improving the General performance of resistance, water retention as well frost stability.
