Hydrolyzed vegetable proteins and carbohydrates are substances obtained from cereal grains. A refined process is utilized in order to obtain a solution that contains part of the functional properties of the original protein and carbohydrate. iProt Rice is an aqueous solution of rice protein and derivatives, carefully handled to guarantee the maintenance of the hydrolyzed proteins and carbohydrates functional properties. iProt Rice is recommended for incorporation in hair and skin care products. Skin and hair are composed of proteins, and proteins are formed by peptides – amino acids polymers with a specific distribution and composition. As iProt Rice is a rice hydrolysate, it has tissue compatibility. Its components, when in contact with hair and skin proteins, are absorbed. Absorption occurs preferentially in zones where hair and skin are most vulnerable (damaged areas). iProt Rice has protective and restorative effects. It imparts softness, volume, shine and pleasant texture to hair and skin.

Keratin is an insoluble fibrous protein of high molecular weight. It is composed by a sequence of 18 amino acids interlinked by hydrogen, salted and disulphide bridges. Skin and hair are composed by proteins, and proteins are formed by peptides–amino acids polymers with a specific distribution and composition. iProt Keratin Vege PF is a hydrolyzed protein solution of vegetal origin, mimetic to animal protein. These proteins are obtained from cereal grains (wheat and soy). The solution is enriched with amino acids which complements its composition, becoming similar to keratin. iProt Keratin Vege PF is a hydrolyzed protein derivative and has tissue compatibility. The hydrolysis process results in a complex of low molecular weight, easily adsorbed by skin and hair.
